More words on Fictions 61: this is a slightly different set than the ones I sometimes play on radio or in a club. It rolls within a shorter tempo range from moody house to bumpy garage. I used to occasionally play day-time after parties in Berlin (especially in Griessmuehle's wintergarten) and this year, I have been booked a few times to play closing sets. This taught me to keep rhythms rolling in a loose and mellow way, whilst trying to keep it experimental and interesting. I'd like to bring that skill to other tempos and settings!
