Dancing For Mental Health is back with a guest we have been trying to book for many months now. It's Slobodan Brkic aka DJ Brka, the Serbian DJ behind the wonderful long-running Disco Not Disco nights at 20/44 club in Belgrade.

Slobodan is well-known in music circles for his unique blend of 80s ex-Yugoslavian New Wave and Electronica. He has played a few festivals in the last couple of years as well as a Boiler Room with fellow 20/44 resident Schwabe and recently took part in a Red Light Radio all-dayer of Serbian music at the infamous boat venue and home of his own party series 20/44.

Needless to say, we are delighted to welcome Slobodan for his first public appearance on Berlin shores and are very much looking forward to what he will bring to the party!

Support on the night, as always by DFMH residents Dama & Budino and Tom Bolas. We'll bring the old E&S mixer out again to get the best out of the sound system.

Since the launch of our website we have been wondering who to ask for the first one in a new series of mixes until one of our absolute favourite DJs in the whole world placed an order in the store. Naturally, we wasted no time and immediately seized the opportunity to ask him for a mix. He was happy to do so and delivered very quickly.

We are excited to present to you this wonderful mix by the legendary digger, DJ and resident at the infamous Potato Head Beach Club in Bali that is DJ Dea. Just how he has managed to remain so fairly unknown for all those years is an absolute mystery to us.

In a previous life he was a resident at Body & Soul in New York, alongside Danny Krivit, Francois K and Joe Claussell, but his musical orientation has changed and he now plays very different music from back in those days, regularly guesting at Cocktail d'Amore. He has been playing spectacular New Wave and Industrial sets recently and it will be a great fit for the intimate dance floor of Sameheads. This is gonna be a bit special, so don't miss it.

As always, we'll bring an E&S mixer to the party to make the most of Sameheads' brand new sound system.

We are welcoming Prof. Dr. Armin Schmelz, one half of the Vienna Institute of Liederbetätigung, into our clinic for this special workshop on Dancing For Mental Health. What could we say about Armin Schmelz that hasn't already been said before? Frankly not very much. He is one of the deepest diggers in Europe, at home in a huge variety of genres that are too many to mention here, Armin always manages to cook up something fresh and exciting to whip heads and dancers alike into a frenzy. He co-costs the Liederbetätigung parties in Vienna and runs a YouTube channel by the same name with fellow Viennese digger Ali Europa.
