I used to have this joke where I would talk to someone about an anime called "My Girlfriend is a Guillotine" for as long as physically possible, trying to trick them into believing this show was real. 

Well, I have added a new layer to the joke by creating the opening credits song for this nonexistent anime. If I knew Japanese, this song would be far more effective, but I still like the idea of being able to go "No. Seriously. I have the opening song downloaded and everything" and then playing this.

Falling Steel

This is a pretty personal one for me as I struggle with PTSD and Agoraphobia in my day-to-day life. It makes a lot of things a lot harder to accomplish than I would like but I am constantly working to be better. There may never be a "cure" for my fears but I want to fully feel the sun with my family and friends. One day I will get there.

Burger King: A term used in multiworlds when a player is unable to continue to progress and is awaiting an item. The term came to be after a player, allegedly, was unable to progress during a multiworld and went to Burger King while waiting to receive items from other players.

I know the feeling of not having a job... It fucking sucks. 

It sucks because, even when you try to escape from the stresses of that never ending hunt, everything seems to act as a reminder that "You Don't Have a Job"

On the one day it truly rained in San Diego, I was driving home from teaching a late data visualization class and saw a lump on the side of the road. At first, I thought nothing of it and was only thinking of what I was going to pick up for dinner. Then I got closer and I noticed it was a stray dog that had clearly been hit by a car and was truly struggling to even make an attempt at standing up. My heart immediately broke and I pulled over to scoop the poor thing into my car as we spent the next couple hours trying to find a vet that was open for emergencies. I fed them some goldfish I had in the car as a snack and tried to get them to drink from my hand, but there was not much I could do except fool myself into thinking they could make it.

I swore to myself that this was my dog. That they could live. But when we finally found a vet, he took one look at my charge and told me there was not much that could be done. So instead, I stood by that good boy's side up until the anesthetic took him. 

Years later, I still remember my dog of four hours...

Grumps Dumpsterly is a villain I made up that is just the worst mastermind ever. He is basically evil in the way you can create a villain in The Sims. Other than just walking around and being a nuisance, he really does not amount to much.

In the game you play as Poss, a possum that has fallen into the dark depths of surreality and must use a powerful shotgun they found to blast themselves a path back home.
