The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Pongo for their first appearance. Based in Italy and made up of real-life brothers Giovanni and Daniele Bruni, Pongo first emerged in 2017 with a pair of EPs via Connected Frontline. Remixed by Aaaron and Artbat, and finding favour with a broad selection of electronic music tastemakers, the releases quickly established the duo’s neatly produced, club-centric sound. A string of projects for Booka Shade’s Blaufield Music soon followed, before the duo found a more permanent home on Marc Romboy’s long-standing Systematic imprint. In a year that has seen Pongo release seven original productions and a remix, the duo also took to re-imagining the 1979 disco-pop classic ‘Moskow Disko’ by Belgian band Telex. Currently in demand and being championed by the likes of Solomun, we’re happy to offer Pongo’s Re-touch as a free download. Enjoy.

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Arude for his first appearance. As a fixture of the electronic underground for the better part of a decade, Ukrainian artist Arude is perhaps best known for his twenty-plus appearances on long-standing Berlin imprint Steyoyoke. It was this creative swell which set the stage for more recent projects via Beatfreak, Eklektisch, Radikon and Renaissance, all of which have been ideal landing spots for his elusive sound. An in-demand remixer for sometime, it was earlier this year that Arude took to re-interpreting ‘The Sound of Violence’ by French electro duo Cassius. Originally released in 2002 via Virgin Records and highlighted by vocals from Steve Edwards, the dancefloor anthem has the distinction of being the duo’s only track to reach #1 in the hugely influential Billboard Music Charts. We’re happy to offer his take on this timeless anthem as a free download. Enjoy.

As one of Serbia’s top electronic music exports, Space Motion has delighted fans with his floor filling, hands in the air productions. As a regular at the top of Beatport’s sales charts, the Novi Sad resident continues to earn praise from the scene’s premiere tastemakers in Pete Tong, Solomun, Black Coffee, Tiesto, David Guetta, Hardwell and more. Famed for his official covers, there is perhaps no active electronic music artist who has remade more of our scene’s most seminal tracks. Depeche Mode, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Knights of the Jaguar, Yeke Yeke and more have all received Space Motion’s inimitable production touch. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Space Motion took to remixing Dance2Trance’s classic ‘Power Of American Natives’ earlier this year. Released in 1992 and featuring the vocals of Linda Rocco, the famed production was the third single from the duo’s first album, Moon Spirits. The success of their EP Movement widely playlisted on, among others, the hit show BBC RADIO 1 of Pete Tong and played all over the world, earned them a wide visibility and led them to play in the best venues in the world. In France, they performed in the most beautiful venues of Paris like the Palais de Tokyo and in well-known festivals & events such as the Stereoparc, Madame Loyal or Monumental Tour, performing in the Castle of Blois.

Signed by labels such as Sapiens, Kinetika or Eklektisch, AVTEL see their productions regularly played by famous artists such as Solomun, Tale Of Us, Dixon, Agoria, and many others. After their successful featuring with Goom Gum on the track « Save your love » and their last EP Foundation, they launch their own label Gloire Records, imprint of their unique sound.
