HHH label is a series of releases coming from a musical research and visual residency called Hitchhiker. 
ⒽⒽⒽ residencies was created by Encastrable, a visual art duo who is part of Carpaccio team.

The guest artist for the 4 th episode is @hadji-hajj who is a video maker and producer from Lyon. He is also the boss of Dawn records and one of the owners of the famous Schnell records .

The 2 other tracks are from @destroyed-temple who is the Swiss knife and producer from CC crew

The idea of HHH is simple: to invite an artist for a road trip by car, van or camping car, to produce music.
It's a great excuse to look for and create new forms with the guest artist.
Each artist is invited to make field recordings during the trip in order to compose tracks. For this one, the travel was between Le Puy de Dôme, Le Limousin and Corrèze.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in the West Midlands, producer Alexis S. Chan aka Soda Plains first caught our attention via his 2014 ‘Rushes’ EP on Amnesia Scanner’s Black Ocean label, leading to Dummy hosting his first-ever UK appearance at the Ace Hotel back in 2015. A couple of faultless drops on Liminal Sounds (‘Kickbacks‘ and ‘She Has All Kinds of Temperatures / Rodeo’) later, and he’s also been dipping his toe into the world of fashion, composing for the likes of Kendall Jenner and Rick Owens. Moving on to multimedia work with 2017’s ‘In Tongues’ that saw an outing at CTM festival Berlin, Chan released his most complete project to date at the end of last year – his self-released, infectious ‘Reconcile’ mixtape. More recently he contributed tracks to Ian Isiah’s sexed-up ‘Shugga Sextape’, and we caught him last week supporting Sega Bodega’s headline show at Hoxton Hall, brandishing some neon-coloured club goodness. Armed with an academic knowledge of how to work a club system, Soda Plains’ ear for melody and rhythm is unparalleled – and his Dummy Mix reflects his sprawling array of influences, broaching galloping club constructs and mutant pop sounds in the blink of an eye.

“MOI” is the fearless new full length album by artist and musician Steven Warwick. The record signals a more upbeat reprise following the previous, reflective release “Nadir”. “MOI”, the first physical release under his own name ( having previously recorded under the Heatsick monicker), is a journey considering interior worlds and personal architecture, as found in early spiritual narratives. Recorded in Berlin, the FUGA residency space in Zaragoza and and on location in New York, Warwick’s sonic vocabulary is further expanded with intense frenetic rhythms, prismatic melodies and resonant vocals.

Like the dopamine rush of contemporary life, “MOI” is a sonic roller coaster with a scream -if-you-wanna-go-faster urgency ; “Open Fire Hydrant” bursts out like a pressure valve spiralling onto the dancefloor, while Kaleidoscope offers cheeky anecdotes as told on a ride home soundtracked by a garage beat.
MOI is a spectrum both emotionally and musically, embedded with an underlying spirituality wrestling with existential dread, as witnessed in “Over There”, “Salvation”, “Kind of Blue” or the icy digital pulse of “Cold Light of Day”. “Danke” featuring guest vocals from visual artist Josephine Pryde offers a slightly gothic feel, albeit of the architectural variety, while the purgatorial transmissions of “Consolatio”, bring a moment of respite. “Rush” is a sensuous percussive workout before concluding on the rampaging seductive house track “Silhouette”.

In this episode Steph speaks with Jack Latham, a musician and producer also known as Jam City, whose releases on the UK’s Night Slugs label in the 2010s were some of the best examples of a post-club sound that had come to define a generation of artists.

After building a name for himself through this cross-atlantic, post-dubstep amalgamation of grime and garage, hip-hop and bass music on 'Classical Curves' in 2012, Jack’s follow-up record 'Dream a Garden' in 2015 disavowed the slick high-definition and commercial aesthetics of his previous work in favour of a more critically lo-fi excursion into political thought and social activism.

Since then, Jack has been working primarily as a producer, spending extended periods in Los Angeles to work with artist like Troy Sivan, Lil Yachty and Kelela. ‘Pillowland’ meanwhile is his first solo release in five years, dropped through his own Earthly label and concerned with looking back at the music of the past to see what it can teach us about the present.
