Scars

I wrote about a man who unexpectedly sees his old girlfriend from high school. He asks her for the time, hoping she might recognize him, but she doesn't. Instead, she simply tells him she doesn't have the time. This moment symbolizes not only her rejection of him as a person but also her failure to remember him as an ex. In the end, he reflects on how much he wished she had taken the time to remember him. rejecting him as a person and not recognizing him as an ex. He ends by saying he just wished she had the time.
