You turn the corner to see a buglike creature-- holding a mug of hot cocoa in one spindly talon, trying to return various snack bags to their shelves with the other, and staring at you like a deer in the headlights.

* Oh. HELLO!!! Is this store, uh... IS IT OPEN?!

They flinch at your voice, but nod vigorously.

* ...Hey. Shouldn't there be a cashier? Or. Anyone working here at all?

Their antennae spike out in shock, as if they just remembered something important. The bug tries to skitter away, tripping over a stray bag of Popato Chisps™.
