From them directly: "I've been thinking a lot about politics and music, both separately and together, throughout this year. Initially, I wanted this mix to be explicitly political by including talk about past and current inequity, but it ended up sounding pretty corny. I'd like to include spoken bits in some future sets and production, but this mix ended up being more of a dip into some dancey sounds I've associated with dystopia and the struggle towards utopia."
