In her hour-long mix for Abstract without Abstraction, force, nostalgia, and spontaneity fuse in the furnace of her attention. With a percussionist's mind and the fastidiousness she brings to her work as a scholar of English philology, a mix is unfolded like a treatise is written or an emotional archaeological dig is undertaken to reassemble meanings that have been scattered across the records pressed in time's vast archive.
