"Months ago ilind of AW/OA sent There Is No There There a powerhouse mix oozing with counter-histories and memories of envelope-pushing material — currents from the 20th Century avant-garde drifting into the contemporary. Greedily I kept it for myself; listening to it in Whippy (my car) when driving into the hills. But it's time to share it. It features such a rich history, and while we're suspended in time, it feels like the mix is more pertinent now than when I received it. Counter-histories with counter-presents offering a counter-presence.

ilind shared this about the mix's title, Listen to the Whole Sky, "sentiment taken from an interview with Jhonn Balance when asked where inspiration comes from; suggesting that one must be like the Arecibo Observatory and ‘listen to the whole sky’ in order to find it."
