You're gonna take anything to stop you feeling bad
Been getting high when I’m asleep
So many secrets you can't keep
You're climbing walls when the feelings over
You ask for money all the time so no ones coming over.
I’m at work when you’re asleep
I didn’t get you what you need

We’re looking for a piece of crack you dropped on the floor
You know the sessions over now but you’re clucking for more, 
your dealers not picking up he wouldn’t tick you a score, 
the best friend you robbed just threw a brick at your door,
sell your games and DVD’s down the pawn shop down the street, 
strip the house of everything to feed the monster within.
Got a 20 for a rock, 
smoked it all by 2 o’clock, 
put your shoes on and your socks,
robbing bacon from the shop,
people look but not in shock, 
attitude in strop,
grassed you up, called the cops,
jump the fence, ripped your top,
in a loop it never stops.
But at this moment I think not.
Maybe next week at the doc’s,
I like my downers, like your up’s

I say I’ve smoked the last time, but I go and get more,
I got a mate getting 80, his never smoked it before. 
Dealers taking long, said he’d get here by 4, 
I’m starting to feel anxious, listen out for the door,
Is my mate acting shady or is it me being flakey,
up 3 days feeling shaky, spend my time getting waisted, 
wanna future, make plan, try around here if you can.
You say it like it’s simple but would you even care to expand.
You don’t need to tell me that my life is waisted, 
I hear it all the time I’m constantly all the time reminded
Don’t you think I try to fight it 
to many people try to hide it,
feeling trapped in this life and getting out I feel divided.
