Over the years, the French producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where incisive techno mixes with the icy atmospheres of coldwave. Some people characterize his work as cinematic electronics or “Cold Techno”, with a strong emphasis on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy.

Author of several releases on different labels (Indefinite Pitch, Crescent London, Khoros, Chez KitoKat, Bella Ursa, Spazio Magnetico...) and different media, this DJ and live artist makes his shows real journeys, as dynamic as introspective.

Psychedelic, tribal, spacey, trancey, acid and dreamy sounds - these are sounds that he interested in. Through events that he promoted and own mixes he try to convince the listeners that mixes based on techno do not have to darkly or brutal but they could have a colorful pallete of emotions and beats.
