Raroh - Above the Ground (Incl. TVS And Beyond Humans Remixes) [NWR024]

'Above The Ground' is the 24th installment of the No Way Records' saga, signed by Raroh, the prolific polish producer who is quickly establishing himself into the electronic music world. 
His debut album is a work of pure and sparky techno. The three original cuts space between the progressive shape of the opening track, to the more cosmic atmospheres of 'Rhizai' with the suspended and soft pads of 'Aether' being the junction between the two. TVS and Beyond Humans are in charge of the remixes, the first gives the title track a more metallic and stinging twist, meanwhile the closing track has been given a brighter yet progressive touch.

Atis has been engaged in the production of Olsztyn independent music since late 1990’s. Since 2012 he has produced a series of events entitled Teoria Chaosu (the Theory of Chaos). He is a DJ, a music producer, a rapper and a visual artist. His approach to mixing music, both as podcasts and for a live audience, is theatrical like a tantric ritual – an invitation for the audience to create their own story out of it.

Biotechnologia oprócz swego pierwotnego znaczenia, jest nazwą dla badań prowadzonych przez naukowców z planety Vendulla, którzy odkryli, iż za pomocą ambientowego, tribalowego techno z dużą dawką psychodelii, wprawiają w taneczny ruch komórki organiczne. Postanowili więc prowadzić badania nad muzykalnością tychże komórek. Nawiązałem z nimi kontakt, a mój miks to próba oddania muzycznego charakteru ich badań.

Biotechnology, except original meaning, is it the name for research conducted by scientists from the planet Vendulla. After coming on earth, they discovered, that ambient, tribal techno with large dose of psychedelic sounds, lead organic cells into the dance move. So, they decided to conduct research on the musicality of these cells. I contacted with them, and my mix is ​​an attempt to convey the musical nature of their research.

Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure. Since 2006 Arnaud lives in London where he has been a regular DJ at Fabric for the last 10+ years. In London, Arnaud runs Children Of Tomorrow since 2011, a label created by Emmanuel Ternois in 2008.

Arnaud is also producing with Antonio De Angelis under their Detect Audio's alias.

VANTA originally from a metalcore and hardcore background he has always enjoyed electronic and experimental music. Heavily influenced by this and the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany with its well known Institut fuer Zukunft his focus are impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area. For a few years now he has been exploring the world of producing.
