Outpost of Progress is an alternative/multi genre/electronic duo from Florence(Italy) comprised of Producer Riccardo Pinzuti and Singer/Songwriter Max Bindi. They produce eclectic electronic music with a focus on melodic and lyrical content.

In 2015 they released their first 5 downtempo/electronica tracks on an EP entitled "Wildcard", with Berlin based "Dirty Cat Records", and received support from various international djs and producers.

In 2016 they were included in the compilations "Massive electronica vol 1", by record label "House on wheels" and "Electronica sensation", by record label "Berlin sensation". They also released 4 Indie Dance/Nu disco tracks on an Ep entitled "Undercurrent" with "Sonic sound rec. EDM”, which was followed by the singles: “Going wrong” ,”Let there be light”, and “Let’s dance” released by Miami based record label “Louddjs records” and were also featured in the following compilations: ”Dance smash hits vol.17”,”Dance smash hits vol.18”, “Yellow Bikini vol.1”and “Miami beach dance party vol.8”, while the Ep entitled “Nightshift” was released by Barcelona based “Another chance records”.

In 2017 they released the Ep entitled "Backdraft" with "Lad records" and were featured in the compilation "Tableaux Parisiens treize" by "Fleur du mal records".

Influences: Chemical brothers, Giorgio Moroder, Moby, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, David Bowie...etc

Progetto solista nato dalla voglia di distaccarsi dalla figura del semplice batterista per dedicarsi ad un mondo fatto di sonorità elettroacustiche. La sua musica è influenzata da suoni post-rock, new wave ed elettronici, composta e suonata senza l’ausilio di computer, utilizzando solo veri strumenti in tempo reale.
Il progetto parte nel 2011 dopo i primi esperimenti realizzati con un seuquencer percussivo ed una batteria acustica. I primi brani completamente strumentali creati da queste sperimentazioni vengono registrati nel maggio dello stesso anno e da questi take esce il primo EP autoprodotto chiamato “Quattro Quarti a Quattro Arti”.
Alla fine del 2011 vengono aggiunti quelli che diventeranno segni caratteristici del progetto: l’uso del microfono per recitare la storia di ogni brano; l’uso scenografico di una “divisa”, una tuta integrale rossa da operaio, per affiancare l’immagine del lavoro al mondo della musica.
A settembre del 2012 escono in concomitanza il primo videoclip “MARTELLO live” ed il secondo EP autoprodotto chiamato “CHIODOFISSO”.
