What’s 2 m tall, lives Behind the Iron Curtain, has 1605 reasons to run an awesome label, and flies? Meet UMEK, a techno legend from Slovenia.

UMEK is personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country by first organizing illegal raves and then becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted export products and the number one music ambassador to the whole world.

And he does fly! Around 100 times per year, visiting almost every continent each year. His gig diary ranges from dark underground clubs in Berlin to massive techno stages at the world’s most renowned festivals. 

Apart from making his name in the DJ booth, he’s also a tireless producer. He mostly releases on his own imprint 1605, and most of his tracks end up on the very top of Beatport’s charts. After more than 25 years as a professional musician, he decided to use his experience and skills in the entrepreneurial world. Together with his managers, he founded a music-tech startup Viberate (www.viberate.com), where they are building the world’s greatest music platform.

Craig “CeeKay” King is a North West-based DJ and producer deeply embedded in the UK’s underground club culture. His sets cut across genres, UK garage, dubstep, house and techno, always delivered with fluidity, precision, and a crowd-conscious approach.  CeeKay’s selections reflect a seasoned digger’s instinct and a dancer’s understanding of the floor.

Regularly appearing across key Northern venues, CeeKay has played at Derby Brewery Arms,Joshua Brooks, The Wav and The Bakery , and The Late South Nightclub. Recent highlights include supporting the likes of Yant, Setaoc Mass, Cleric, Pan-Pot, and Len Faki Arkane, Blasha & Allatt,Coyu,Grace Dahl and Rebekah with prolific labels such as Filth, HøL and Mechano, with warm-up sets praised for their restraint, depth, and groove-led progression.

Holding down a residency at Underground Kollektiv for over 2 years where he's Bimonthly radio show "DIE Solis" plays out new Underground techno, inviting guest djs from the uk and European scene, further expressing his love to play to the mass.

2025 also marks a pivotal moment in his production journey. His debut EP, “Rubber Dub”, is forthcoming, melding dubwise textures, broken rhythms, and sub-heavy minimalism. The release captures the same essence that defines his sets: tactile, bass-rooted, and built for physical sound systems.

CeeKay is also set to appear at Mechano in September, playing alongside Yant, Setaoc Mass, Cleric, Pan-Pot, and Len Faki.A milestone that reflects his growing influence in the UK’s techno continuum.

Whether in the booth or the studio, Craig “CeeKay” King is a true representative of the UK underground: dynamic, forward-moving, and always rooted in rhythm and sound system culture.
