From MySpace to Tumblr, and into a new era.

PostWater began creating music in 2000.

2006 — MySpace
His home-recorded tracks quietly reached listeners overseas, forming a small but dedicated international following.

2013 — Tumblr
A repost of his music unexpectedly went viral, gathering more than 3,700 reactions and bringing renewed attention to recordings many had already forgotten.

Lost Years
After recording a final piece in 2011, PostWater stepped away from music. Yet the recordings continued to drift across the internet. By 2021, fan-made archives and videos had restored several of his once “lost” tracks to the digital world.

2026 — Return
After a 15-year silence, PostWater resumed recording.

Working primarily through intimate home recording, he creates Alternative and Lo-fi Post-Rock shaped by repetition, space, and the subtle textures of time. His music captures fleeting atmospheres—echoes of Tokyo’s sky, layered with reverb, memory, and silence.

Lost Years
