••• So this weeks experiment is actually exactly one year + 4 days old. Recorded on the modular at my school, just a few weeks before the lockdown in Denmark started. 
This is my first, and to be honest, only time i have used a modular on my own. Remember the experience as having a lot of mixed feelings. Didn't have a clue what i was doing and easily got very confused, but when i suddenly got something out of it that sounded just a bit nice, i almost jumped up from the chair out of excitement 😂
Anyway, i got sucked into this magical modular world for about 5 hours, loosing track of time completely!

NAE is the premiere album from the Israeli producer Øhmar.
This release was formed through the ongoing encounter with the search for a meaning and a way in the world. While the world struggles to handle the pandemic, Øhmar was experiencing a renewed journey of self discovery in Australia. The life in the rollercoaster of the contrast and uncertainty has contributed to a very tangible understandings, Ones that cannot be described by words and symbols, Ones that only music was able to express that time.
In this collection of musical tales, Inspired by a number of styles and genres on the spectrum between Bass and Psychedelia, Each of the tracks pretends to be a kind of a seal on an in depth understanding of another of the various life lessons. Nothing and Everything offers you a blend of fresh cosmic beats, soothing and mindful harmonies along with glitchy and intricate sound designs.

••• After a little break, im back with the sunday sound experiment series.
As some of you might know, besides composing slightly psychedelic ambient, playing at psytrance festivals and at yoga events, i also have a passion for neo classical and cinematic sounds/soundtracks for movies and theater.
This one is made from a recording of an orchestra tuning made into a pad in Pigments, the BBC symphonic orchestra plugin and a contact mic recording of ants i found on Soundly.

AYO is the solo project of danish composer, producer and sound artist Julie Schønherr Rosengreen.
AYO has been touring all over Europe since 2015. She has been playing in Morocco and The United States.
Some of the festivals she performed at includes Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Freqs of Nature festival, Anthropos, Hadra and The Rendezvous - Tipper&Friends in Florida.
She has been performing for The Danish National Bank, at the beautiful Thorvaldsens Museum in Copenhagen, composed music for the theater play “Anna Walk With Me” and currently she is working both with installation art and performance art, making interactive and generative sound with plants, water and the human body. 
In 2020 she released her debut album Moto on Sofa Beats records. This was followed by several single & compilation releases on labels like Microcosmos records, Altar records and the danish female label SØNTH collective.
Her second album is soon due for release.

AYO strives to send a message of a more harmonious cohesion with nature, with each other and with ourselves. By incorporating nature elements into her performance, she tries to give nature back the voice it has lost. Giving the listener a chance to emphasise with it, by letting plants and water generate the sounds they hear, in an always evolving and generative pattern, which makes every performance new and unique.
Combining that with playing live hardware synths and her classical influenced compositions, the listener is presented with an experience of nature meeting electronics and the deeper emotional self -floating in to a world of dreamy and melodic soundscapes, dynamic pads, processed foleys and recorded ambience.
AYO has been playing and composing music since she was a child. With a background as a violinist and as a classical musician, the ambient genre was later a place where she felt at home and where she could express and unfold herself freely. 
She has a bachelor degree in electronic music and sound art from The Danish National Academy of Music. Here she has honed her expression and further developed her "voice" in order to be able to stand stronger with her message and vision.
