There’s no denying that now more than ever, the familiar rhythms of the music we love can provide respite, comfort and relief and so it’s our biggest pleasure to bring you another outstanding listening remedy to do exactly that.

Vicky Zissou has been capturing hearts, minds and dancing feet with her richly organic, eclectic sound over recent years, flitting between “atmospheric, dubby, acid and raw industrial vibrations” in a way that oozes with class and ensures your attention never wavers.

“Her dark-layered hypnotic techno sets come with electric intensity, a shimmer of light and ease, and a drop of emotion.”, the continuously shifting grooves locking you in in a continuous, trippy, hypnotic haze.

When she’s not gigging in Sweden and Berlin alongside the likes of Abdulla Rashim, Dorisburg, Evigt Mörker, Sebastian Mullaert and Fjäder, she’s working on her own tracks and collaborations, including the beautiful ‘Matilda’ project alongside Hampus Bogren – “a genderless project challenging people’s preconceptions and mental images, with a sound marked by modular synthesizers, complex patches, atmospheric / experimental sounds, and driving rhythmic percussions.”

Digital release number twenty in the No Way home entrusted to Martyn Päsch with an ep entitled Udaipur. The track that gives its name to the ep is a refined composition that skilfully combines a precise rhythm with circular and harmonious arrangements. Agra, on the other hand, stands out for its nocturnal reflections marked by elusive dub echoes. The two originals are reworked by two remixers, Aquiver gives Udaipur a darker and deeper connotation, while Infinity transforms the nebulous atmospheres of Agra into pure hypnotic and pressing techno.

Eighth episode of NFR series comes from Southern Italy and its produced by artist called Biocym. In his own words he tries to awake emotions with complex textures and atmospheres that are one of the signatures in his music. The main core of his work however focused on achieving the perfect balance between modular gear, sampling and creative use of sounds and noises generated by the nature. Release contains 6 original tracks and a remix recorded by new born moniker - Motion Symmetry.

Latmos delivers four pieces of classy hypnotic techno with a special spacey vibe.

"Plural Lifeforms" puts emphasis on equality and human rights recurring to an evolving groove and a heavy action of bleepy and hypnotic elements.

In "Genom", liquid synths and ethereal elements are interleaved with a ritualistic high-decay kickdrum blended with a reverberated ambiance.

"Sinking" presents a more detailed ambient texture and fast-paced rhythmic patterns. Sharp reverberated hi-hats create expansive and hallucinatory effects in the background. 

"Algorytmi" reworks the vibe of the EP implementing a basic structure that makes the track playable in different contexts.

Overall, a very interesting EP for the lovers of classy techno. Don't miss it!
