Now days everyone wanna try to be something they are not so they try to fit in but is never happy because they cant live with who they are try to be or think they is. Well me I something get down, feel sad, even do dumb shit but that because im human. I'm different from everybody else because i know i dont fit in but i know we're still all equal .There no im better then you cuz you got this and i got that .We can all die the same bleed the same even get sick the same .There not even no different between race we are one race the human race. I know we cant help everbody in the world i know that but everyone can help someone .I'm only 19 fresh out of high school and working. Not to many people make it out of high school why because they worried about the next party who doing this who doing that everybody wanna be a street nigga excuse my french. My mother told me "son the streets been here way before you been here and they wil always be here if you put that same effort into school,working, or even a music you be successful but if you feel it dont work you could always go back". You cant live life in fear and what if .You should always take that chance if you feel it right and be ready for whatever it come with it. Another thing this stuff i see on the news lately been make me sick i feel God bring babies in this world to tell us he still want the world to go on we just gotta get better. I used to be scared to died even died alone but i personally feel it get better this after. Even if it dont all i could say is i live my life i make bad decisions sometime but i own up to it and learn from it .Even doe everything in life change it always going change but you got to be able to adapt to it and at the same time know how to go about stuff .Most people rather sell drugs then to work other would rob and steal .You cant expect to really gain what you want if you dont work hard for it and give up so easy.A wise man told me two things that make me understand life a little bit better .He said "shoot for the moon even if you miss you'll be land among the stars" and the other was "we can learn alot from a box of crayons some are bright some are dark some got weird names some can go with any other color but at the end of the day they could still all learn to live with each other in the same boxs".For those who dont understand what they mean well let me explain .The first one mean if you aim high even if you dont get what you want you still will see sometype of progress. Most of the time people see something for a far and want it untill they get close up .Meaning sometimes you want something that later on down the line you dont want. So if you still work hard you might get want you you might even switch your mind last mintue but you could still be where you wanna be. The box of crayons mean like if you make a website or build a house building ,business, cars, all type of stuff and made it one color inside and out it cant show the true beauty in it. When you add more colors it give a better colorful picture. If we all work together and learn to live with each other would bring more stuff in to this world, more food ,more business ,even more money but we all got to work together .History repeats it self why because nobody wanna change it and most people dont know it .We the people are suppost to learn from yesterday mistakes to make a brighter day today and plan for tomorrow even doe tomorrow not promise .You cant control your death if come it come but if it dont you still got plans for tomorrow the future come one day at a time but im end of on that note. R.I.P. Jamies Bea 2013-2015

As an in-house engineer for one of London's top underground studios, and a local favourite on dub DAB stations, J.B. has donned secret disguise and is bringing his unique blend of deep-electronica and indie-pop songwriting to the masses. His first track, the upbeat sizzler 'tw10' (named for his favorite postal area in the capitol) has innovation written all over it, from the stylistic sub-throb of the re-taped 909's and funk guitar, effortlessly melting into roomverb-drenched vocals and sonic squelches of abrupt, abstract bleeps, blips and blops. Then there's 'sound off surrey, a ballad-tastic slower groover, combines more of the experimental, surprising production elements into an even catchier, poppier, saxophone-laiden ambient masterpiece. More recently, he put out his take on r&b-meets-alternative-ambience in the shape of 'dreams', a full-on glitch-soul sound incorporating live drum sounds, his signature deep-tuned bass and an infection melody, a modern-day cult classic and this years answer to 'Jasmine'. When asked about his sound, he simply shrubs and, without a pause of though, simply utters, "Not sure, just what I hear, you know, before I make it appear". Recently, he added an upbeat, ear-piercing, percussive-drenched funk-hop-step blistering banger to his page, entitled 'right way', quite ironically on Christmas Eve. Fans felt he was offering them an evening present. Others felt he was merely trolling them. His thoughts? "When I fixed the phase issues on the multi-tracks, sorted the crest factor of the master and balanced the RMS levels, as things turned out, it wasn't that long 'till Santa was going to arrive. It seemed like it was time to let the track go." Just before Easter (one week to be precise) he uploaded what could be described as his most ambitious offering yet, a funk-tastic, downtempo, chilled-out bubbler of a hit, drowning in tape-like warmth, saturation and darkness, with tight, polished, minimal and modern edge. "That track came out quite quickly, but it took weeks to whittle the perfect mix down. I think I must have listened to it 30 or 40 times whilst walking around, just to make sure it was bang-on." And we are all very grateful he did.

Ryan Johnson and Miles George met in the late fall of 2007 while attending Finger Lakes Community College. Right from the get-go, their musical tastes and styles became immediately entangled together, in which they began writing music together on a small level. Once their friendship and musical ideas grew and meshed, they decided to start writing and recording an EP together. Throughout the span of 2 to 3 years, they had figured out exactly what they wanted as far as their sound and the tracks that would make it to their EP. From that point, RJ and Cu-Cu was born.

After months of playing acoustic sets and many open mic nights around Rochester, Ryan and Miles discussed the possibility of putting a band together. They wanted to capture a similar sound from their EP and bring it to the stage with a bassist and a drummer to serve as a backbone. Luckily, that idea would quickly become a reality. Rochester natives Nick Parker and Chris Murtha completed the group in the late summer of 2011, with Parker on bass guitar and Murtha on drums. After this addition, the possibilities for Ryan's and Miles' songs were endless, and quickly the band started picking up various gigs at Bug Jar, Water Street Music Hall and other venues around Rochester. 

Shortly after a few shows, Ryan and the bandmates settled on the name This Life, a simple statement referring to living in the present and not becoming immersed in the past. The band released their album 'Days Of Old' in spring 2012. After a year of several shows and radio appearances, Nick Parker and Chris Murtha left the group, leaving the dynamic duo to continue where they started. After months of playing acoustic gigs, Ryan and Miles decided to reform the band, bringing in Scotty Dupra on bass and Aaron Davis on drums. They are currently playing all over Rochester and are looking forward to broadening their horizons as a great live band.
