Kelsifer - Hitech DJ Mix - First mix, so be nice mmmmkay????

My nighttime set from Interlude festival 2023 by Quiproquo Collectif, played in the Alternative stage at 12am - 2am, it was an amazing moment that I'll remember for a long time, thanks so much to everyone that came to dance and share their energy! And to Quiproquo for putting on such a truly awesome event, it was a blast :D

I had a great time playing Drum and Bass for the second time, for this set I explored lots of new techniques and experiments, fusions, while still staying true to my love of mixing really melodic and energetic drum and bass with deeper, distorted, hypnotic tracks. I tried out a passage changing genre to Dubstep also, it worked really nicely and compliments the rest of the set a lot I think! Can't wait for the next one :D

My 3am set at The Ether stage 🥹 I'm so happy and proud of this set and I feel that it was a wonderful representation of the style of dark hitech I'm trying to cultivate and share.

I was blown away by the amount of people on the dancefloor, and it meant so much to me to have many of my friends make the trek across the festival for my set and for me to see their smiling faces in the audience 😭

This was one of the most amazing things I've ever gotten to do and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity. Thank you to everyone that made it possible.

And my heart goes out to all of the incredibly talented artists that were supposed to be playing on this stage for the Goa Gil tribute, due to early cancellation of the festival because of bad weather 💔 I was SO looking forward to hearing all of you.

Spektron is the Dark Prog project of Vasilis Iakovidis, based in Limassol, Cyprus. Launching his DJ journey in 2011, he has carved a niche for himself within the heart of the underground scene. By 2021, he started honing into his own sonic signature by venturing further into the uncharted territories of dark progressive psytrance. Spektron has contributed in various releases on labels such as Zenon Records, Parvati, Sangoma and Sentimony Records. His sonic identity encompasses driving basslines, interwoven with glitchy sequences that twist perception. His compositions conjure visions of immersive otherworldly landscapes fused with industrial and tribal elements. The project aims to take listeners on a journey through aural dimensions both eerie and enchanting.
