For over two decades, Atmosphere has maintained a course of rigorous output, releasing over two dozen studio albums, EP’s and collaborative side projects in as many years. In that time, the venerated duo have built a legacy out of bringing honesty, humility and vulnerability to the forefront of their music, continually challenging themselves to evolve without straying too far from their roots. Slug has proven masterful at storytelling and writing compelling narratives, leaving a trail of his own influence while paying homage to the rappers and songwriters that helped shape him. Ant has skillfully molded the soundtracks with inspiration from soul, funk, rock, reggae, and the wizardry of hip-hop’s pioneering DJ’s and producers, creating his own trademark sounds while providing the pulse for songs about life, love, stress and setbacks. At its essence, Atmosphere has been a musical shepherd, and with each new album comes a new journey as they guide generations of listeners through this thing called life.

My name is Vinny Sebastiano, and I am an aspiring artist in the SF YAY Area.  Being from San Francisco has greatly influenced me and made it easy for me to develop a love of music with all the culture and diversity that has surrounded me. I recently completed my four year enlistment in the United States Infantry and am living in the San Francisco Area serving in Georgia, Tennessee, and Afghanistan. Being in the infantry, I have a tour under my beltand unfortunately lost some very brave men who once stood by me. Through my hurt came passion and music has been an outlet to feel and heal myself and others. I am headstrong and a hard worker and strive to make music that will make people feel as well. I am a clever witted tastemaker with an ear for music. Some artists that have inspired me greatly are Bassnectar, Datsik, Feed Me, Caspa, Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, and UZ. I am inspired to go above all standards set for me and use my strong work ethic and creativity to make my own distinct sound that will inspire others as well.
