AYO/Julie Schønherr Rosengreen has been playing and composing music since she was a child. With a background as a violinist, and as a classical musician, the ambient genre was later a place where she felt at home.
A place where she could express and unfold herself freely.
Julie is educated at the danish national academy of music, with a bachelor's degree in electronic music and sound art. Here she has honed her expression and developed her "voice" in order to be able to stand stronger with her message and vision.
The AYO project strives to send a message of a more harmonious cohesion with nature, with each other, with ourselves.
Julie has toured with her AYO project all over Europe since 2015, but has also played in countries such as Morocco and Nepal. You have been able to listen to her at events such as Freqs of Nature in Berlin, Anthropos Festival in London, Tivoli in Copenhagen and 7 Chakras Festival in Italy. In the summer of 2023, you will be able to experience AYO live at two of Europe's biggest festivals: Boom Festival in Portugal and Ozora Festival in Hungary.

Human Lessons #072 - Ayo

Its time for Onyro, a project based in Madrid inspired by the Japanese traditional culture, dedicated to the experimentation and fusion of different styles of avant-garde electronic music. This show was recorded live some weeks ago during the Onyro pre- Party with Forest on Stasys as guest. The first part of the show is driven by the talented Sciama who introduces us into obscure territories. After the Scottish artist, Camu takes over with his mix of ambient and contemporanean electronics. The closing part is fot the argentinian artist, Forest On Stasys, who delivers a wonderful classic ambient piece.

All sets were recorded live at Espacio Perpendicular.

BLNDFLD is the deep techno alias of Tbilisi-based DJ and producer Guram Gharibashvili. Gaining recognition with successful releases on Circular Limited and Kvlto Records, BLNDFLD has established a reputation as a producer of refined taste, known for nurturing atmospheric and deep sounds.
BLNDFLD has performed at prominent local venues such as Tes, Cafe-Gallery, and Kibe, while also making his mark internationally with performances at Laut Club in Barcelona. As the co-founder of Tbilisi-based record label Spira Records, he plays a key role in nurturing and promoting deep techno within the local scene.

We begin 2025 reaching a very important milestone. Today we celebrate the 100th episode of the Atmospheres playlist with a special mix by Skøgen.

Skøgen is the brainchild of Italian-based experimentalist and multi-disciplinary artist Francesco Presotto aka @exhaleelectronics . One of the rising names of contemporary electronic music, that merge ritual, ambient, industrial with obscure beats, granular synthesis and weird production techniques. His works can be heard in clubs, festivals, museums and the fashion and design industry. In 2023 he scored the OST for Milan Design Week being reviewed in magazine such Elle Decor, British Vogue and AD. Skøgen is fast becoming a well-recognized name in the contemporary experimental scene.

Natural consequence is a key phrase for Brussels-born DJ Kim Kenis.  Raised by a drummer, it’s no coincidence that she easily stays in time as she strings together gems from along the genre spectrum. Known and loved as someone who pretty much can’t stop dancing once she starts, it was only a matter of time before she channeled this endurance behind the decks.  Whether sending stargazers into the ether with her ambient selections or getting hearts and bass thumping on the dancefloor with her minimalistic techno sets, Kim brings a bewitching tenderness to her DJ-ing that quickly caught the attention of the Belgian scene.

With the tenacity of a historian deep in an archive, she’s had a near-prolific output of thoughtful, studied radio mixes since 2019 (Refuge Worldwide FM, WAV, Radio Sofa) and an interesting club & festival schedule (Waking Life, Horst Arts & Music, Paradise City, Listen! Festival, Funke, …).

I'm a disappointment

“Through Space & Time” was written during the Depression chapter of “While They Were Sleeping,” and it belongs to the story of my mother a tribute to her love, her fire, and her place in the cosmos of who I am.

This is more than music. It’s memory turned celestial. A way to honor her when words fell short. The melody floats like starlight because that's how I remember her quiet strength, deep sorrow, a gravity I still orbit.

Even when we were oceans apart in silence, in misunderstanding she was still my home. This piece is for her. For everything she carried. For the light she gave me, even when she had so little left for herself.

“Through Space & Time” is the sound of missing someone who never truly left. It’s the sound of love, cosmic and complicated. And eternal.

Through Space & Time

This musical track is a tribute to the low-budget black-and-white sci-fi films of the 1950s.
Three astronauts land on a planet dozens of light-years away. Upon exiting their rocket, they are stunned to find life resembling Earth’s own pre-human past. The planet is blanketed in towering grasses and ferns—a primordial forest stretching to the horizon. Enormous insects dart through the air, while lakes teem with armored fish. In the distance, low, barren cliffs are visible. The astronauts attempt to reach them but soon realize it’s impossible: the dense vegetation blocks their path.
Choosing not to interfere with the Green Planet’s evolution, they depart. Yet, as their ship soars over the cliffs, they fail to spot the traces of civilization below. The chance for contact slips away—forever.
