Interstellar Audio is back with the second chapter of their ‘Frontiers’ series, part of the #musicforpeace project that launched in 2023. This ongoing initiative aims to support those facing humanitarian crises and conflicts around the world. At its heart, ‘Frontiers’ is all about bringing together musicians from every corner of the globe, celebrating each artist’s unique voice and creativity while reminding us how music can unify us in the shared goal of supporting people in urgent need.

Last year, this project raised over $750 to benefit the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. This time, the ‘Frontiers’ series is channeling support to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), specifically focusing on their Emergency Surgery Response, which provides critical surgeries in conflict zones like Gaza and Sudan.

‘Frontiers Vol. 2’ unfolds like a story told in three acts: a sense of peace and calm that shifts to tension and conflict, and finally, a resolution through solidarity and unity. The album closes with the powerful reminder to stand firm on principles and continue the fight for peace. This volume brings together 37 artists, with Jason In:Key once again delivering the official album mix.

True to the ethos of the Dispatch Dubplate sub-label, this release is built around another in-demand dubplate, with 'Machete' forming the basis of this EP. A track that stood out in Ant TC1's post-COVID US tour with Doc Scott, the early Vedas master version caused maximum dancefloor impact with its classic AWOL era sound and raw lashy amen feel at 170bpm+.

Across 5 further tracks Blade digs deep and delivers another homage to the world of contemporary breakbeat.

Back2Back Records started out as a group of friends wanting to contribute to the alternative dance music scene in Sweden. After a few parties with mixed up music, mixed up crowds and only positive reactions from the people the parties got bigger and happened more often.

Now entering its 12th year, with monthly events at Slakthuset and boat and forest parties, Back2Back provides a much-needed platform for both international and local artists to perform in Stockholm. 
Today, Back2Back consists of seven people (Estated, JNB, rzt, i.Spaceman, Charlie.pxls, Aurelius & ItsOk) on a mission to play Drum and bass to the masses!
