Bens thirst and passion for house music is something thats run deep for nearly 30years. Dancing on the floors of Fabric and The End to DJ's that have influenced him such as Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Diz, Jesse Rose, Craig Richards and Terry Francis. Now having  over 20 years DJ experience and playing alongside house heavyweights such as Inland Knights, Trevor Loveys and Bugz in the Attic. Ben is now resident and promotor for his own night House Is Where The Heart Is which is gracing many a dance floors across Kent’s South East coastal towns. For the past 15 years, Marshall has been a dedicated explorer in the world of electronic music. His journey began quite simply, sitting with a friend and an early version of Ableton Live. Captivated by the endless creative possibilities, Marshall was instantly hooked.

His early musical influences came from the vibrant UK garage scene and the raw energy of early Jungle and Drum and Bass. These broken beats, deep grooves, and intricate rhythms continue to shape his sound today. Free from genre constraints, Marshall creates music with a sense of freedom, helping to shape his own unique sound.

Marshall's production style is hands-on, favouring analogue synthesisers, drum machines and sequencers in a mostly DAW-less setup. This approach gives his sound organic imperfections and movement, which are further enhanced by his extensive use of field recordings and Foley. The result is a rich tapestry of textures that add depth to his hypnotic rhythms.

With notable releases on Neele Records and Phunk Solution, and an eagerly awaited EP dropping on Voodoo & Prayers in summer 2024, Marshall is steadily carving out his own unique space in the electronic music scene.
