Story about the live mix:

'Manto' and 'Reef' are part of my first album, it will be released on CD in the next few months through ROSH! I think these were the latest tracks I've made for the album, I've tried to work on different aspects of a very specific sound to make everything fits better. The original versions are a bit more rhythmic, like the rest of the tracks on the live, but pretty much the same idea. 

The remix for Lessov is one of the latest things I've done. The guy kindly asked me to do a remix and I thought it would be difficult at first, cause actually the original was some kind of progressive-trance tune, but it was not really hard to take the sounds into my style, It took just a few hours to make the remix. 

The track with Triames is taken by a first idea I sent to him, he added some glitches and a real waterphone that sounds quite scary wich is great, is not in this version cause I didn't have the actual project when I made the Live, but hopefully it will be released along another couple of tracks we did together, so you all can hear the full version.

'Shoreline' has been just released in two different versions through spanish netlabel Edaphon, the guys running the label, Rinno and Dave Marian, asked me to do something for them when they started the project. I really love what they do so I just can't say no.

'Northbound' and 'Height' are part of un upcoming EP on Retrospective Zoology. I think some of the tracks on this one are by far the greatest things I've done and there is also huge remixes from some of my favorite producers: aspect. (Textural Being) and Desove.

The new season of the series opens with a mix by Zakhar Anisimov-Klimkin aka Ens Dormir, a Russian musician from Tolyatti who works in the genres of ambient and experimental electronics. Having founded his project in 2018, he began exploring soundscapes, combining elements of dark ambient with unconventional musical techniques. In recent years, his work has been featured in the catalogs of labels such as Fuselab, Glubina Neba, and Chitra Records.
The next hour will take us through his musical journey toward inner peace, with tracks from rab neba, Aphex Twin, Yves Tumor, and others.

Jesse Chen is a key figure in Taiwan's electronic music scene, celebrated for his unique fusion of techno and deep house. In 2019, he co-founded Pleasure Always Brings Pain (PABP) with visual designer Sebastian Wu, creating a platform that seamlessly integrates sound and visual artistry. Their vision expanded further in 2024 with the opening of 潮電Bar&RecordStore in Taipei.

潮電Bar&RecordStore, meticulously designed by 2byWu&Chen, centers on the historic Taipower Building on Chaozhou Street. The space has become a cultural hub, championing Taipei's contemporary electronic music scene. It offers a curated selection of vinyl records and an immersive listening environment, serving as a beacon for music lovers and audiophiles alike.

Jesse has played a pivotal role in bringing world-class electronic talents to Taipei. His curated lineup includes Perc, Henning Baer, Emika, Daniela La Luz, Parallx, MCMLXXXV (Herrensauna), Introversion, Gerald VDH, MELATRONIX (Elad Magdasi & Mathias Weber), and legendary Berlin techno/post-punk pioneer Mark Reeder.
Known for blending tracks across eras and genres, Jesse’s performances are rooted in the traditions of techno while introducing rare and unheard sounds to Taipei’s music scene. His innovative, genre-defying sets have garnered widespread acclaim, leading to performances at premier venues and events such as Spectrum Formosa and Pawnshop, as well as international shows in South Korea, Thailand, and Germany.

As a passionate advocate for progressive soundscapes and inclusive dance floors, Jesse continues to push the boundaries of Taiwan's music culture. With 潮電Bar&RecordStore as a cornerstone, he cements his legacy as one of Taiwan's most dynamic and influential DJs.

Another chapter in our calmness series comes from electronic musician @geklaper, based in Saint Petersburg. We first discovered his music back in 2023, when he released his fifth album 'brighter', and we couldn’t resist inviting him to create a mix inspired by it. 

The next hour is an immersive portal into a selection of ambient dub and downtempo tracks from the time when 'brighter' was recorded. Inside, you’ll find music by Piper Spray, Lena Tsibizova, Mike Midnight, Space Afrika, and more.

A new mix has been recorded for us by @fmsao, aka Evgeny Shchukin — a southern cultural figure, music producer, and co-founder of the independent label @fuselab. We've encountered his musical work twice already in our numbered series. The first time was through the project WOLS, where Zhenya explores the edges of hyperpop — a project that recently evolved into a full band performing instrumental live shows. The world of FMSAO, on the other hand, blends the beauty of nature with artifacts of a not-so-distant future. It’s here that his more abstract ambient forms emerge — built on dotted minor-key sequences, enveloping pads, and deeply pulsating rhythms. For the next two hours, we’ll be immersed in his chillout zone, exploring the boundless manifestations of ambient. Sit back and relax 🤍

«Compiled, recorded, and mixed in Krasnodar with love for everyone. It features various versions of today’s chillout. A few lo-fi ambient hits from TikTok. A lot from me, from FMSAO. I’ve shared these in my Telegram channel — they’re mostly unreleased, I call them fixes. Fixes, because I dig up an old track and keep 'fixing' it until it turns into chillout.Even though the mix is long, it’s crafted to loop seamlessly — the beginning and end flow together harmoniously. You can listen to it on repeat, in a calm and effortless way. This is the chillout zone.

I also included tracks released over the years on our label, Fuselab. There’s a track by Hoavi, our dear friend Kirill. And one by Monokle — who’s also been released on our label. So yeah, from the heart. The mix is quite long — but I never make short ones anyway, so this is business as usual.»
