Не так давно у Forlate вышел EP "Sacro Mare", а также трек в рамках компиляции от австралийского лейбла Inner Thieves. В планах артиста на следующий год выпуск дебютного полноформатного альбома. 

Полный загадок и потаенных уголков, этот микс приглашает в путешествие по покинутому людьми морскому побережью, где в каждой песчинке хранится какая то часть прошлого, одновременно близкого и далекого. Словно пирожное "Мадлен”, какие-то звуки способны пробудить в слушателе ворох воспоминаний и помочь вновь оказаться среди, казалось, навсегда забытых пейзажей.

Aroma of tea and tobacco and backgammon boards. Two players. Two sides. One is light one is dark. A living city accompanied by headphones and this music."

Forlate (@forlate) is a producer and electronic musician working across an eclectic array of experimental music genres. Forlate’s music draws heavily on influences of ambient music, minimalism, avant-garde and noise. Indeterminacy and incomprehensibility of human experience have always been the project’s conceptual focus manifested in the use of repetition, prolonged silences and compositional metamorphoses.

Live ambient journey guided within a Blue Lotus ceremony in the Guatemalan Jungle ~

 .. I was recently invited to play music for 3 hours during a private Blue Lotus Ceremony in the jungle of Guatemala. This first hour was a guided breath-work session leading into a 2 hour dance of original music.  

33 candles were lit to represent the spirit of each individual present & illuminate their purpose in this lifetime. 33 representing the 33 vertebrae in the spine on the path from the root to the crown. The set was a journey upwards & then integrating back into our body.

Alōng Thė Påth Of The Lōtus ( Livë Blue Lōtus Ceremony )

This mix channels the experience of starting anew in a strange city, capturing the alienating feeling of not yet belonging amidst a sea of unfamiliar faces and unintelligible conversations. The track selection mirrors this sense of otherness, featuring almost a collage-like web of vocals in various languages, syncopated percussion, and ghostly droning textures that are at once distant and strangely comforting. Create during a period of adjusting to a foreign place, the mix is a reflection of being a stranger in a city that's slowly becoming home.

The Snow Lotus

The new season of the series opens with a mix by Zakhar Anisimov-Klimkin aka Ens Dormir, a Russian musician from Tolyatti who works in the genres of ambient and experimental electronics. Having founded his project in 2018, he began exploring soundscapes, combining elements of dark ambient with unconventional musical techniques. In recent years, his work has been featured in the catalogs of labels such as Fuselab, Glubina Neba, and Chitra Records.
The next hour will take us through his musical journey toward inner peace, with tracks from rab neba, Aphex Twin, Yves Tumor, and others.

Another chapter in our calmness series comes from electronic musician @geklaper, based in Saint Petersburg. We first discovered his music back in 2023, when he released his fifth album 'brighter', and we couldn’t resist inviting him to create a mix inspired by it.

A new mix has been recorded for us by @fmsao, aka Evgeny Shchukin — a southern cultural figure, music producer, and co-founder of the independent label @fuselab. We've encountered his musical work twice already in our numbered series. The first time was through the project WOLS, where Zhenya explores the edges of hyperpop — a project that recently evolved into a full band performing instrumental live shows. The world of FMSAO, on the other hand, blends the beauty of nature with artifacts of a not-so-distant future. It’s here that his more abstract ambient forms emerge — built on dotted minor-key sequences, enveloping pads, and deeply pulsating rhythms. For the next two hours, we’ll be immersed in his chillout zone, exploring the boundless manifestations of ambient. Sit back and relax 🤍

«Compiled, recorded, and mixed in Krasnodar with love for everyone. It features various versions of today’s chillout. A few lo-fi ambient hits from TikTok. A lot from me, from FMSAO. I’ve shared these in my Telegram channel — they’re mostly unreleased, I call them fixes. Fixes, because I dig up an old track and keep 'fixing' it until it turns into chillout.Even though the mix is long, it’s crafted to loop seamlessly — the beginning and end flow together harmoniously. You can listen to it on repeat, in a calm and effortless way. This is the chillout zone.

I also included tracks released over the years on our label, Fuselab. There’s a track by Hoavi, our dear friend Kirill. And one by Monokle — who’s also been released on our label. So yeah, from the heart. The mix is quite long — but I never make short ones anyway, so this is business as usual.»

Forlate is a producer and electronic musician working across an eclectic array of experimental music genres. His debut EP Industrious Amazement which came out earlier this year, is an extremely personal exploration of one’s self and its inherent contradictions.
This mix is a perfect companion for listening through headphones on a cold wintry afternoon. It has a nostalgic vibe to begin with and as the mix reaches to its close the warmth of the familiar gives way to dread and anxiety only to be melted away by the sweet vocal acrobatics of Claire Hamill.
