Несмотря на все происходящее, или скорее вопреки, у нас премьера новой передачи. Называется left/fields. Автор — Андрей Морозов, создатель и куратор фестиваля Fields. 

Слово ему: «В конце марта я уехал из России и обосновался в Сербии. У меня не было представления о том, на какой период я покидаю свой дом, хотя в глубине души я надеялся вернуться назад как можно скорей. 

До последнего момента мы питали надежду на то, что сможем адаптироваться к текущей действительности. В какой-то момент появились даже мысли о том, чтобы запланировать большой зимний Fields — вопреки российской культурной изоляции и возможным рискам. Но текущие события в России еще раз напомнили о том, что обратной дороги пока что нет — а значит нужно планировать свою жизнь как-то дальше, по-новому.

Кураторство Fields было для меня отдушиной — через него можно было фиксировать важные музыкальные явления, подводить какие-то итоги, расставлять акценты и транслировать определенное культурное мировоззрение. Можно сказать, что каждый фестивальный лайн-ап я воспринимал почти как диджей-сет: на каждой сцене было свое повествование, выстроенное в четкой драматической последовательности, а все вместе эти сцены сливались в единый полифонический нарратив.

За эти полгода мне стало грустно от того, что я потерял связь с нашей аудиторией и лишился возможности «рассказывать» такие истории. Поэтому мне пришла мысль завести регулярную программу на TESTFM, чтобы сохранить хотя бы какой-то рупор для музыкального сторителлинга. В названии «left/fields» зашито сразу два смысла: это и метафора на тему покинутых родных полей, оставленного фестиваля, и указание на нетрадиционные музыкальные ориентиры. Буду пытаться сохранить всю повествовательную пестроту нашего фестиваля, но теперь уже воплощать в буквальных диджей-сетах».

Периодичность: два раза в месяц.

Misha Sultan, a musician, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer originally from Novosibirsk, now based in St. Petersburg, has recorded an hour of healing ambient landscapes and improvised exoticism.

 By the end of last year, Misha released his first solo album «The Red Fern Road» on the @@digrecs label, which is perceived as one big adventure consisting of field recordings and improvisations.

«I finished this mix at the beginning of winter and it turned out to be a little melancholic and even in some moments nostalgic. It contains a lot of music from my friends,  unreleases  and all time favorites.
The most mystical and sad moment is the news of the death of Harold Budd on the day I finished the mix. His beautiful track opens the mix. RIP Harold Budd».
