Their revered Balance Mix Series (Established in 2000) has seen the likes of Max Cooper, James Zabiela, Kolsch, Hernan Cattaneo, Henry Saiz, Danny Tenaglia, Deetron, Joris Voorn, Patrice Baumel, James Holden, Agoria, Phil K (R.I.P.), and more step up to the plate for one of the most essential collections across the entirety of the electronica spectrum, whilst Balance Series, their showcase for expressive tech, progressive and wider variations of house music, is a focal point of the sound. The latter has nurtured top-drawer releases from quality artists encompassing a plethora of upcoming and established acts. The Music Gallery is a centre for promoting and presenting innovation and experimentation in all forms of music, and for encouraging 
cross-pollination between genres, disciplines and audience. 

The Music Gallery is Toronto's Centre for Creative Music, founded in 1976 by Peter Anson and Al Mattes of the free-improvising group, CCMC. Since its inception, the Music Gallery has been a publicly assisted centre for the creation, development and performance of art music from all genres.  Since 2017 the Music Gallery's performance space has been located at 918 Bathurst St.

Ink! is known for sets that open windows to musical dawn, or doom. Having explored the vast lands of the Hardcore Continuum since the late 90ies, he continues to be interested in the connections between signal and noise, the in-betweens and the nuances. Feeding from Techno, Rave, Bass and Dub, and often using more than just two turntables and a mixer, Ink! stirs up sets that are invitations to loose yourself in a sea of sound. 

Ink! has shared the stages of clubs and festivals in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Japan, China, Italy, Hungary and Latvia with acts like Mouse on Mars, Laurel Halo, NHK’Koyxen, Ben Frost, A Made Up Sound, Shed, Andy Stott, S S S S, The Gaslamp Killer, DJ Krush, DMX Krew, Tomaga, Addison Groove, Donna Summer, Dimlite, Cylob, Ceephax, Wisp, or Otto von Schirach.
