On The Road was written by Janice Dunbar and is the 1st track on Boomchix's full length debut CD 'Surprise Surprize' (available to download on iTunes and CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/boomchix).

Produced by Marc L'Esperance (Linda McRae, Ray Condo) and Janice Dunbar, 'Surprise Surprize' was independently released by founding Boomchix members Janice Dunbar and Barb Wilkins. Along with their lead and harmony vocals, acoustic guitar and mandolin, the production features the playing of some of Vancouver's best musicians: Paul Pigat on lead guitars and banjo, Linda McRae on electric bass, Shelley Brown on stand-up bass and harmony vocals, Ed Goodine and Marc L'Esperance on drumkit, and Meredith Bates on violin. All 13 tracks were engineered and mixed by Marc L'Esperance at Heavyosonic in Vancouver.
