Zwei Stimmen die unterschiedlicher kaum sein könnten, eine Gitarre, eine Mandoline! Das sind die „BADGER'S BROTHERS“, Karli und Jonas aus Bielefeld. Die beiden bringen es durch ihr erdiges Songwriting schnell auf den Punkt und erzählen die Geschichten hinter ihren Songs im Geist der alten Folk-Singer. „Heavy Folk“ wie sie ihr eigenes Genre selbst nennen ist Songwriter-Musik in Reinform. Der Dachs steht nicht nur Pate für den Namen des Heavy Folk Duos, sondern ist auch Synonym für den alten, erfahrenen Geschichtenerzähler ‚Grimbart‘, der in Fabeln und Legenden am Lagerfeuer von seinen Reisen und Abenteuern erzählt. 

Instrumental auf das Wesentliche reduziert und mit zwei ausdrucksstarken Stimmen prägen die beiden Singer/Songrocker einen völlig eigenen Sound und schreiben Songs weit ab vom Mainstream, irgendwo zwischen Akustik/Rock und Folk.
