Bait's first various EP format release 'Baby Steps' is an exploration of steppers: pounding four to the floor kicks, organic percs and an overall 'elephant march' feel. Featuring tracks by five French producers, Strasbourg-based @orchidj (half of @orplusbe with Bait founder @beatricemasters), Bruxelles-based Moriiiis J., most-known for his broken-beat project @Kuna-Maze, as well as @Quasardub, whose name is well established in the dubstep world with releases on legendary UK labels such as Artikal and Deep Medi to name a couple. @agonsound (Few Tips/Trajectoire) & @c-line-technorama (Technorama)'s collaboration opens a door towards the more abstract and contemplative side of bass music with influences such as Shackleton, perfectly closing 'Baby Steps' VEP.

Each track, albeit with it's own unique frame of reference, possesses a sense of motion, a playing-with movement, they fold, curve and cycle, forming a new set of rules - a new game.

。From Mata Disk's swirling pads, to the dizzying, gravitational drum barrage of Camille Altay and Dominowe, to the arcing stabs of Jay Duncan and Austen, ilinx play embodies five tracks of club-functional sonic vertigo.

。 Camille Altay is a trans-nonbinary visual artist, composer, builder, and cancer survivalist who’s practice approaches personal and cultural trauma as metabolic processes of change, calling upon the tactile and transcendental languages of materials, technologies, and bodies as co-creators of identity and culture.
