Decoys explore the ways that internal perception distorts and develops as it navigates the fluid boundaries of the self. The EP’s title invokes the distracting and alluring elements of an incomplete double—an illusion that, upon closer inspection, uncovers something perhaps even deeper than its originating source. The title track pairs driving rhythms with dark, rustling atmospheres and layers of competing bass punctured by the screech of unidentifiable machines to create a relentless forward momentum with no clear destination. “Imitation Body” layers found sound to assemble a beat that pushes and pulls with a distinct swing, anchored by ghost-like ambiance and an insistent low end. On “Fear Of Others,” paranoia and uncertainty channel into a chest-rattling dubstep excursion. As the track shifts between two distinct moods, the elements anchoring it mutate and shift. The EP closes with “Respite,” a breathy half-time closer accented by bursts of frenetic sound and warbling bass, as though the music itself is resisting disintegration.

POLAARIZED reimagines the club as more than just a dancefloor—it’s a space for radical expression, a meeting point where boundaries blur, and communities thrive. This release is a sonic manifesto for those who live at the edge of the underground, where music becomes a force of connection and change.

To celebrate POLAARIZED, we’ve created a limited-edition sticker pack inspired by iconic Panini collections. Each pack includes 12 unique designs inspired by the concept of light polarization. Limited to 100 copies, these packs come with the digital album.

Azu Tiwaline x Tim Karbon - Gloom Valley

Glad to share our first release of the year, produced by Andrei Rusu and including a remix from Beatrice M. The Romanian and Berlin-based artist has been deeply involved in electronic music production, DJ-ing, and live performance as part of the duo Khidja. We discovered his music through his first solo EP, "I’ve Lost Control", released in 2024 on Berlin based label Malka Tuti, followed by the album "Met Him On A Wednesday", released under his alias Ed Rain and marked by its introspective tone and experimental approach. His weird electro sound is influenced by post punk, DIY and wave. Rusu’s music is organic, exploratory and unconventional.

Andrei: « This is my most cathartic to date, it’s quite haunting and feels a bit like screaming into a pillow. I imagine it as the perfect soundtrack to banging your head against a table. »

A key element throughout the EP’s sound and lively feeling is the use of Andrei’s favorite machines such as the Mort’s Barge module, the Microtonic or the Syncussion. He creates captivating soundscapes and deep evolutive atmospheres that inspired Beatrice M. to deliver a slow bassy belter that compliments this release perfectly.
