As I biked into deep playa looking for the majestic glowing Maxa deer on Friday night, I kept thinking about how I found out that the reason the deer art car is a deer, is because the legend of how the Mexican tribes found peyote goes that a blue glowing deer appeared and showed them the way to the plant. 

This, of course, as it was told to me when I paid a visit to the Maxa camp a year before the 2024 Burn, after biblical rains paralyzed Black Rock City and decimated my dreams of playing on the Maxa deer… at Sunrise. 

Good things are worth the wait and as I took control of the glowing myth and spirit of the magical deer, I was surrounded by the most amazing crowd in the front, around and behind me. 

This is the musical story of that night, my last and highly proud set of Burning Man 2024. Enjoy!

► About:
Christian grew up in the UK, where he developed a love for electronic music. It wasn’t until moving to New York that he attended his first underground party and found the sound that inspired him to start DJing. Since then, Christian has become a key figure in the underground scene, known for his refined taste and passion for music.

He is a resident DJ at Bespoke Musik (@bespoke-musik) and Ibiza’s Beachouse (@beachouseibiza), where he provides soundtracks for sun-soaked days on Playa D’en Bossa. Recently, he joined the All Day I Dream (@alldayidream) roster, contributing to their streaming series and performing at venues like Space Miami, Cova Santa Ibiza, and All Day I Dream festivals.

Christian’s music balances deep, low-end frequencies with melodic and melancholic elements, creating versatile sets fit for both nightclub dancefloors and sunset gatherings.

In addition to managing the Bespoke Musik record label with founder Rocky Ramniceanu, Christian released his first collaborative EP with Powel (@powel) in 2024. His notable bookings include iconic venues such as Sisyphos Berlin, Robot Heart at Burning Man, and Café D’Anvers Antwerp. With the Bespoke Musik label and global events on the rise, Christian continues to innovate, bridging classic and modern sounds.

Hard to describe this set and this evening. 

GOAT festival has been one of my favorite festival discoveries over the past few years. Only one stage open at any given time... 2,000 people in a flow together, for 4 days.  

What an honor it was to be asked to close out the Friday into Saturday night with the final set, during my favorite time of the night, playing into sunrise. Thank you John, Bruno, Joao, Marco, and Goncalo for this experience. You guys are rockstars. 

Excited to be back in 2025 to close out Mainstage on the final night.
