The next instalment of the Slow Motion Soundtracks Serie, this time from Pordenone‘s Alessandro Parisi. Interested in esoteric and religious texts, this comes across loud and clear in his stunning, ethereal E.P Andromeda, which at turns send shivers down your spine and expands your mind. Having released on the likes of Giallo Disco and Charlois, this is Alessandro’s first release on Slow Motion. These ecclesiastical synth workouts are sure to inspire clubbers and thinkers alike. Darkness had fallen upon the grasslands, illuminated only by the moon and a million glittering stars. This was where the inhabitants of the land could be free, away from the sun, away from daylight and all the trials and tribulations that came with it. The black canvas of the night sky had become their safety blanket, they were creatures of the night, nocturnal animals. Under the yellow gaze of the moon, they danced and frolicked abandoning the worries that daylight would bring.

Barcelona-based collective, party hosts and label Playground Records gear up to release a collaborative EP from Leonor and Nasiri, a dark hypnotic journey through chugging beats and flute-driven percussion. Several producers step up to remix the original tracks including Damon Jee and Kuunde but our favourite comes from Polish duo Mytron & Ofofo who are a perfect match for this whistful percussive cut.

The river was the only route out of the city. It stretched for miles and miles, ebbing and flowing with the breeze that carried it along. Next up on XXX, the Dutch label run by DJ and producr SHMLSS, is good friend and Bordello A Parigi alumni Stijn Sadée. After two contributions to earlier releases for the label, he's now set to release his first original EP on the label, which features a remix from Smala boss Manfredas that they locked in after the Lithuanian producer saw Stijn play live last year. The aesthetics of the label are down to Stijn's brother Thomas who worked closely with him to create something that fitted with the music and his influences.
