The rāga saga is a series I have started to act as a cultural collectiva of my favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "color the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes straight from Belgium by the lovely @hekske

Hekske's taste in music is one of the most beautiful, she has been a great support in my musical journey and I am too excited to share this latest podcast in this series featuring Heks. I had the great honour to play a special suprise Sunrise Set from 6 am - 7 am at the "Dance Beyond - Ecstatic Dance - Retreat" at the wonderful "Eagles Nest" which offers a spectacular View over the Lake Atitlan and it's Volcanos in Guatemala. It was just magical and epic to vitness and accompany this spectacular event. A Moment of feeling Greatness and Humbleness at the same time. So peaceful yet powerful. Beyond Words...

After 7 days in the desert with all the amazing experiences and intense emotions i went through, i tried to capture it and wrap it in one piece! Includes an unreleased track and a remix by moi. @Pandhora is the electronic music project of musicians AmineAmara and Rémi Forsan. Since embarking on their music production journey in 2015, they have been shaping their own psychedelic & progressive sound signature. Highly inspired by various sub-genres of rock and electronic music, their productions also contain a subtle organic touch. These influences collide in their studio, where the emphasis is put on sound exploration.In late 2018, strengthened by 3 years of creation, they started touring their live act ‘Deep Psychedelia’, a musical adventure inspired by the four elements of nature. Ranging from electronica to upbeat progressive house, their music tells a story of intriguing soundscapes. Combining mesmerizing guitar & keyboard improvisations, the musicians aim at guiding the audience delicately through hypnotic music spaces. As the story unveils, earth, water, fire & wind turn into music to create an ever-changing poetic tale.Throughout 2020, they will be working on their first full-length album, exploring various song formats & styles. Bespoke Musik Radio 122 : Pandhora

Today we welcome a true storyteller behind the Schirmchendrink counter: DERSU honors Schirmchendrink with his sensational cocktail named “Between the Sheets”!

It was many months back when we got in contact and first listened one of DERSU’s sets. This one was called Africa. As fans of beautifully crafted DJ mixes it was clear that we wanted him on the show.  

DERSU is a creative mastermind telling stories trough film, animation, design, and music. His career led him from sports apparel design to art, film and music. He discovered his passion for the latter as creator of Witness This, an art and culture magazine. 

His most recent projects include NightCause, a monthly dance party on the West side of L.A. where 100% of the proceeds are donated to charity, and, Wish You Were Here, a daytime party series in Venice Beach. He also is one half of the duo Peace in Noise.

Between the Sheets covers many emotions and moods, it's deep and taps into a more industrial and minimal berlin sound, with touches of spiritual and also very heart filling anthems near the end. 

You can literally tap into the emotions as it’s reflecting DERSU’s personal journey as of lately: challenging, scary, dark while also being incredibly beautiful, expansive and light.

After the sage – accompanied by his trusted guide owl – sneaked stealthily into the forest, he sensed an unusually serene energy.  The animals were not shy at all, and when he noticed that many of them were moving slowly into one particular direction, he decided to follow this unusual procession until it ground to a halt while all the animals looked into the distance.  The sage looked into the same direction and what he saw left him completely petrified.  In a nearby clearing he saw a young girl – maybe still in her teens - with very long brown hair and an immaculately white dress frolic with some wolves.  The sage didn’t know whether to hide or flee, but when he saw all the forest dwellers around him watching this spectacle in a relaxed mood, he concluded it was OK to keep on observing this mystery girl while staying out of sight in order not to disturb her.
The sage wasn’t sure whether this girl was a fairy or maybe a witch, but she obviously wasn’t an ordinary human being.  After a few minutes, the little girl started collecting some firewood.  The nearby animals immediately started to help her, with a couple of magpies flying in some twigs while two wolves and a few squirrels swiftly collected some pieces of wood and laid it at the feet of the young witch.  With all this help, it only took a few minutes before a small pile of firewood was lying in front of the barefoot girl.  After indicating that there was enough wood now, she took a small cauldron and filled it with some fresh water from a nearby stream.  She also picked a selection of herbs and mushrooms and when all the ingredients had been gathered, she put the cauldron on the fireplace and with an elegant hand movement, she lighted a floating spark which gently found its way to the firewood and set it ablaze.  The sage was dumbfounded by this magic spectacle, and so was his guide owl who sat on his shoulder all the time.  With calm and unhurried movements, the girl put all the ingredients into the cauldron and gently stirred the brew.  Meanwhile the sage asked himself how the dress of this barefoot forest girl could be so immaculately white.  After about half an hour, the brew seemed to be ready and the witch took the cauldron away from the fire to let it cool down.  Meanwhile, she sat down on an old log and stretched out her arm, and within seconds a beautiful white owl landed on her hand.  Her smile was pleasant and warm, yet the sage sensed that it would not be a good idea to disturb this young witch.  A few minutes later, the white owl flew away while the sage sensed that his trusted guide owl started to become restless until all of a sudden the bird flew up from his shoulder and headed straight towards the girl, who was pleasantly surprised when the owl landed on her hand.  She immediately noticed that this bird belonged to an exotic species she had never seen before and she observed the wonderful creature with great curiosity.  The witch spoke some soft words to the little owl and looked at him with a radiant smile.  She knew perfectly how to handle little owls, and soon the bird was lying on his back in the palm of her hand with his wings spread open, while the girl gave him a playful massage on his belly, which pleased the little owl so much that he closed his eyes.  The sage couldn’t believe it.  His guide owl was his inseparable companion for the last 2 years, yet he had never allowed him to cuddle him in the way the witch was doing.  It was a moment of pure magic.  After a couple of minutes, the girl put the bird on his feet again and gave him a tender little kiss, after which the owl seemed to wake up from his state of blissful hypnosis and flew back to the sage, who quickly ducked behind a bush so that witch wouldn’t spot him…
