Harvey Sutherland, the Melbourne-born record producer, keyboard player, club DJ and bandleader, made a name amongst his hometown’s electronic underground with a string of cult dance singles. Early 12-inches like ‘Bermuda’ and ‘Priestess’ were records in love with classic soul and disco, but his debut album ‘Boy’ was guided by his obsessional traits and habits, ending up in a place he describes as “Neurotic Funk”. 

Boy has seen widespread acclaim since its release, with Resident Advisor noting “[his] sense of musicality has always been head and shoulders above his peers...his songs are full-blooded and fleshed-out…” His latest material is an exercise in techno minimalism — laser-focused club jams like ‘Hummingbird’ and ‘Nobody Like U’ set the stage for Harvey’s next chapter. 

His machine grooves are fired through a prism of crate-digging influences, from Todd Rundgren to Basic Channel and back again. His distinctive synthesiser tones have graced remixes and production for Disclosure, Khruangbin, Genesis Owusu and BadBadNotGood. A seasoned performer, he’s taken his live band to Glastonbury, dragged his Juno-60 into Berghain and turned the Melbourne Recital Centre into a full-fledged nightclub. Eclectic and groovy, Harvey Sutherland is Neurotic Funk.

Springing from the obscurity of the Inland Empire, Brainstory forges a new sound using the soul and fire of Jazz, with the psychedelic expressions of 60's pop.  Brainstory is the seldom told tale of the inner light and darkness found in the depths of all living things in the universe.

Carmine Bainmass è nato ad Ercolano NA, dove ha iniziato a suonare il basso elettrico con diverse band locali, poi si è innamorato dell'hip hop e del fatto di fare musica usando i dischi. Da lì a comprare un Akai e un pacco di vinili da campionare ci ha messo poco. 
Alla fine degli anni '90 si è trasferito a Modena dove è entrato nella Fetish Funk CREW di dj Monsa (R.I.P) e dj T-Robb, poi insieme a Dj T-Robb ha suonato con il nome di 20 Dita CREW facendo diversi Mixtape. 
Dal 2005 in poi ha partecipato a diverse compilation italiane, tra cui: BEAT IT vol.I, WE DIG -BeatTape, Zcatness, Life is Beatful e varie uscite per i The Beatfonics Crew (Yusef Lateef Session, Beatxploitation, 2nd Anniversary, Lonnie Liston Smith Session, Ethnic Session).   
Tra i suoi beat tape nel 2013 ha realizzato BLOWOUT uscito per l'HHabitat Record dei Bluesteady Triptik, MOVE per la Passion Junkies Lab di Fugu e nel 2015 Love Tribute Ep per Inyourears label.
