The new Samurai Music series of 12"s - Samurai Hannya - are based on the mythical masks of a Noh drama (a form of traditional Japanese theatre). Hannya masks capture the stages of transformation of a female character as she undergoes a metamorphosis into a demon / ogre.

French II dedicated his last 2,5 years crafting his producing skills and Graveyard Shift is going to be his first output as a solo artist. Formerly known for being part of DJs/Producers group BANGANAGANGBANGERS, he spent 7 years specializing in the Bass and Drum & Bass scene, gaining a lot of live experience with over 200 shows.

“Like probably every producer, I made a lot of beats before I was convinced enough to put out my first track. For this new project I am searching for a more mature signature sound, focusing on driving drums and breaks. Graveyard Shift is a dark, 85 BPM stomper Halftime track which fits perfectly in the sets I like to play.”

Samurai Breaks returns to Halogen Music after 3 years with a 6 track EP, ‘Anti Social Club’.

Samurai Breaks is a Leeds, UK based beat technician. His music fuses together influences of footwork / grime / jungle / rave and trap into a heady, high energy combo to get your feet moving. With ‘Anti Social Club’ he certainly maintains his energetic standards, growling bass chops dancing around shuffling breaks.

Through These Eyes is very proud to announce a 12" from Moscow's very own Dub/Jungle production trio Champion Sound. Neekeetone, Distant Roots and General Koondoongoo made some respectable tunes on their own, but once they combined their powers as Champion Sound, the levels were rised higher. And although dubby jungle rhythms might not be the first thing that comes to mind when
you think of Moscow, this is the style these three producers from the Russian Federation have mastered in the last few years. Playing together in a reggae band and having a strong love for all things dub definitely helped a alot, too...
No wonder their tunes already got support from Moresounds, J:Kenzo, Sun People, Mister Shifter or Mystic Pulse and got played heavily on Rinse FM.
