"I am still battling with my philosophers," as George Lamming once stated. These thinkers occupy the terrains of the artistic and critical thought. As for music, I believe that Jazz/Blues constitute the autobiographical chronicling of (Black) life under the constant threat of death--whether that death be spiritual, physical, psychological, or cultural. This is the terrain of Black artistic & intellectual articulation. I'd like to thank all of the creative souls on Sound Cloud who both contribute to that genealogy as well as share their articulations with the world. Again, thank you.
