These are a series of collaborations I've done with the wonderful singer/guitarist/songwriter AlyKat.  These tracks are a lot of fun to do with AlyKat and come out quite well.

As of December 2015, we have done enough to make up a CD, so this is now an "album" called Echoes of the Past and we now call our collaboration Creature Comforts.

Hard To Handle (AlyKat and BallisticSquid Collaboration)

Here is a cover of the song Superstition by Stevie Wonder.  This version falls in between Stevie Wonder's and SRV's version.  This features AlyKat on vocals and guitar, BallisticSquid on guitar, and Earthman on bass...and Stevie Wonder on drums :).  How cool is that!!!

Supersition (AlyKat, Earthman, and BallisticSquid Collaboration)

This cover was done using the drum, percussion, and bass tracks from the original multitracks.  AlyKat performed vocals and acoustic guitar.  BallisticSquid performed two rhythm guitar tracks and the guitar solo.

Long Train Running (AlyKat and BallisticSquid)

This is a collaboration between Keith (bass), AlyKat (vocals and rhythm guitar), and BallisticSquid (keyboard riff done on guitar, mixing). This was a special song to cover because I heard it, loved it, didn't know who it was by, rediscovered it, forgot who it was by again, and rediscovered it again. Now that I've learned how to play it, I doubt I'll forget it again.

This a collaboration between AlyKat and BallisticSquid.  AlyKat does main rhythm guitar and vocals.  BallisticSquid does some sparse rhythm and solos.

Ain't No Sunshine Collab (AlyKat and BallisticSquid)

Another AlyKat and BallisticSquid collaboration, this time under the name of Creature Comforts.  This time around it's The Beatles Something.  AlyKat plays rhythm guitar, synth guitar, and sings vocals.  Squid plays lead and sparse rhythm guitar with a roto cab effect.

The is AlyKat and BallisticSquid's cover of the Rolling Stones' Honky Tonk Women.  AlyKat is on rhythm guitar and vocals.  Squid plays the other guitar parts.  Drums, bass, and sax provided by a karaoke track.

Another Aly and Squid collaboration on John Mellencamp's "Pink Houses".  Aly on vocals and acoustic guitar.  Squid on electric guitar and some sparse backing vocals.

For this tune, I recruited the talents of my daughter to play a piano part.  I played acoustic and electric guitar.  AlyKat supplied the wonderful vocal to top it all off.

Chasing Cars (Cover) - Emma And Rich And Aly

A collaboration between AlyKat, ClassicRock, and yours truly. I used my G&L ASAT on this with my neck pickup. Recorded though my mic'ed amp and added slapback delay in Reaper.

AlyKat played acoustic rhythm and sang. ClassicRock played the guitar intro and bass. I played solos and fills.

Black Velvet (AlyKat-ClassicRock-Squid collab)

This is a collaboration between myself, Alykat, and Classic Rock.  AlyKat provided the lovely vocals, rhythm guitar, and synth.  Classic Rock provided the fantastic bassline.  The drum track is from a karaoke version.  I provided the guitar lead.

I played my Gibson LP with BB Pros through my Zoom G5 running a '59 Marshall amp sim.  The effect chain included reverb and delay.
