Chelsea Hollow is known for her “soaring high range” and “stage panache!” premiering new operatic works such as the roles of Helen Chavez and Ethel Kennedy in Dolores (Benavides/Koch) and Fenghuang in Hutong (Dong/Datta/Schick). Traditional operatic roles include Queen of the Night, Zerbinetta, Lakmé, and Olympia. Hollow “has rewritten the book on the potential of musical activism," curating & commissioning powerful perspective-expanding solo recitals as well as exploring ways to make traditional opera exciting to new audiences. In recognition of this work, Hollow presented on Art and Activism (2021) for the United Nations’ Office of Human Rights. In 2023, Aerocade Music released Chelsea’s debut album Cycles of Resistance, featuring 22 of her commissions. The album journeys through international resistance movements over the last 120 years, chronicling human resilience in Mandarin, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Sanskrit, and Czech in addition to English. The name's Dig Xaz. I do hip-hop.  I'm mostly influenced by the 90s east coast sound, but thanks to that I like all kinds of music. I like making beats with me mate, Neil Cake. He lets me rap over loops of his music. I also guest on songs by The Madonna and the Whore. I rap about life, politics, nonsense, anything that's got a rhyme and a rhythm in it.

Michalis Andronikou is a composer and musicologist currently residing in Calgary, AB. He holds a PhD in composition from the University of Calgary. He received his Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s degrees in musicology from the Department of Music Studies, University of Athens, Greece. He has a Diploma in Classical Guitar, Clarinet and Music Theory from the Trinity College and the Royal Academy of Music, and a Diploma in Byzantine Music from the Argyroupolis Municipal Conservatory. Michalis gained credentials in Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue, and Music Composition (with Theodore Antoniou) from the Hellenic Conservatory. Moreover, he has studied Greek folk instruments such as lute, tampoura and bouzouki. 

Michalis has composed music for small and large ensembles, theatre plays, art exhibits, movies, and songs. Ten CDs with his works have been released since 2003, and his scores are published by the Canadian Palliser Music Publishing, the Bulgarian Balkanota, the Italian Da Vinci Edition, the English Trübcher Music Editions, and the American Alea Publishing & Recording. 

Michalis is an associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre, a member of the Canadian League of Composers, a theory examiner of the Royal Conservatory of Music, a member of the Greek Composers Union, and a member of the Center of Cypriot Composers.

I work with acoustic composition and electronica, using found sound, improvisation and extended techniques. Recent music explores the relationship between pitch and noise. Genres boundaries are generally blurred. I have written for theater, dance and film in the past. Roots in classical piano, I also dabble with jazz piano, accordion, guitar, and percussion.

bios: Mel's compositions have been performed in Australia, Italy and the USA and many of her pieces have been released through Move Records (Australia). She has contributed her work - as music composition or sound installation - to museum alcoves and gallery installations in Australia, the USA, Denmark and Italy. Mel started her music journey performing avant garde flute pieces by local and international composers. Her recent music explores the tension between interruption and a desire for continuity.

MODERN SOUL
I studied piano and composition in Romania (where I was born), and then in Israel, where I lived for many years before moving to the US in 2003. I also received comprehensive scientific education and had a successful hi-tech and management career. 
In this new chapter of my life, I'm pursuing my passion for music again, creating authentic music, at the intersection of East and West. My compositions are a reflection of my heart, soul, understanding of the world and my experiences over the years. In my music, I tend to balance between artistic intuition and structural rigor, always prioritizing the emotional experience.
My music is performed throughout the US and Europe, and won several awards such as the New Ariel Piano Composition Competition, Saint-Saens International Music Competition, Vivaldi International Music Competition, King’s Peak International Music Competition and is featured on Navona Recordings label.
