Hailing from the underground scene of Stuttgart, re:akt's love for techno bloomed at a young age, inspiring him to start spinning tracks and crafting his own tunes. With a slew of releases on esteemed labels like OBSCUUR, Nulleins Records and Gomboc imprint nachtsieger, he has solidified his presence in the national techno scene. Eventually, he sought out to fully immerse himself in Berlin's pulsating techno culture, where he slowly gains traction with heavy releases waiting in the wings and packed with fiery selections for sweaty club nights. For this episode I have invited Dejan (SE), one of the main names I include in my track selection. His deep, emotional and complex sound catched my attention instantly. Name, I discovered randomly through instagram and connected with immediately , with continuous support. Here is some key information about Dejan - DJ, producer and label owner, born in Sweden with Serbian roots , found electronic music in very young age, when Electro exploded in the mid 80s.
Later in life, he found sounds like Rave, Trance and Techno. Dejan’s music production journey began in 2000. In 2016 he took the step out as an official artist. In 2020 he launched his own label called "illusoriska takter.
His music is supported by some of the most respected names, getting more and more visibility and recognition. This show features many of his own tracks.

Hailing from Leeds in the north of the UK, Balrog (Alex) is an artist whose style focuses on heavy rolling drums, driving bass lines, and distorted vocals. His tracks take influence from classic funky and groove focussed techno but with a fresh injection of modern industrial power. Focussing on this signature sound of industrial groove techno has seen him release on labels including Soma, Ear To Ground, Hydraulix, Crisis Of Man, Player, NAKT, Instruments Of Discipline, Moments In Time and Green Fetish.

The industrial groove sound also characterises Balrog’s high-energy DJ sets which have seen him headline events in cities such as New York, Berlin, London, Leeds, Manchester, Budapest, Glasgow, and more.

Balrog also runs his own record label, Khazad Records, which releases music from the very best industrial groove and hard techno talent around.
