Long time no see dear Louis! Part of our 2019 inaugural BST001 V/A tape, 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 returns today to 𝔹𝔸𝕄𝔹𝕆𝕆 𝕊ℍ𝕆𝕎𝕊 with his 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐭𝐬 LP.
Formerly a so-called collective, now happily unmasked as a schizophrenic one-man band, the French multi-instrumentist gathers here a collection of twelve acts recorded live. Not a proper album, nor a simple compilation, yet a real insight on Louis De La Gorce’s playful explorations over the past three years. Beyond spanning the wide range of psychedelisms, 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 displays once again his unique blend of out-of-the-asylum folkloric noise, epic Neuneu Dance Music, mystic downtempo and under-the-influence trip-hop.

At some point, the music came. Inadvertently. A noise, followed by another, followed by another. Resulting in a melody, or a rhythm. Gathering everyone around, suddenly drawn by this weird lullaby, asking the neo-instrumentalists to repeat the enthralling loop, endlessly.
Then, the discovery spontaneously spread across frontiers, across ages. Up to this day, laden down with all the knowledges and influences collected along the road.
Stéréogramme, the newest Parisian label, dedicates its initial imprint to this journey. To the strange and captivating music filled with ancient sounds and atmospheres, yet produced today. As a manifesto of the coming explorations to be released: library, leftfield electronics, freak folk, minimal synth, fourth-world…

A 50-minute cassette compilation to highlight ten worldwide producers, providing two distinct listening experiences. A joyous first part, featuring playful and extravagant contributions from Hipólito, Lyckle De Jong, Charlotte Leclerc, Manoir Molle and Romain de Ferron. Making way for a darker second act, tinged with psychedelic and mental abstractions from Steve Pepe, Chorus Abstracta, Raymonde, Inturist and Bear Bones, Lay Low.

Two years after the 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐎𝐒 𝐋𝐏, Jonquera is back to Charlieu’s surrounding vales for his second album on 𝔹𝔸𝕄𝔹𝕆𝕆 𝕊ℍ𝕆𝕎𝕊. 

Through 𝐋𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐱 𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬, the French Musician delivers a loner-folk eclogue about the fantasized inner demons of a country dweller. Just like clay, audio recordings here are a malleable substance, slowly reworked over a year, following a sinuous production process where all mishaps are welcomed as breaches to step into. 
Far from the spaghetti western myth of the reckless bounty hunter, riding his faithful horse in the great outdoors to spill blood; this 14-track album is the grieving lament of a wistful cowboy, longing for a simple patch of peace where one’s free to cultivate the earth and noodle on the guitar.

Heldon’s cosmic space-rock, Badalamenti’s Twin-Peaksesque foggy jazz or Morricone’s glorious soundtracks, so many references to portray another fertile imprint by Jonquera, available from February 13, 2023 on a 12” vinyl. To get along with a limited-edition woven scarf.

while we're looking to the near future and 'Charly Markarian - Jeunesse ne passe pas' publication, we're keeping an eye on the past. Inviting today on Bamboo Shows guestmix series dear metra.vestlud, who released last year on our label the magnificent 'Coalyqsta' cassette album. The Russian artist, through his 'Kundalini Shaktipata' mix, gathered 1 hour and 45 minutes of spiritual fourth-world, meditative drone, avant-garde jazz, neoclassical acts and blissful new-age... all explanations below:

"This mix is a ritual instrument aimed at awakening the hidden divine force - Kundalini - within a person.

There are two approaches to awakening Kundalini: active and passive.
The active approach includes yoga practices, meditation, and special breathing techniques.
The passive approach is when you need to surrender and let go of all obstacles on the path to awakening.
The key in the passive approach is Shaktipat. Shaktipat is a message, phrase, or word. In this case, this mix is a transmission of knowledge from higher consciousness.

Shaktipat only temporarily raises Kundalini but provides an experience that can be used as a foundation for further development.

Recently featured on Nose Job with his 'Synthetic Nature' debut-album, Brussels' own Tonito Yama (aka Antoine 80) joins today our guestmix series in style. Born out of the desire to loose track between synthetic and natural, real and virtual, analog and digital, the tape is obviously inspired by the mid-90s' documentary 'Synthetic Pleasures', which explored the twists and turns of the revolutionary-then digital world.

Continuing on from the first installment of the series 'Tendrils Lurched Purple In The Slush', this next chapter showcases an earthier, organic side to the label's output; just like 'Plasticity', which sludge-laden feel and dubbed-out sound design captures the feeling of this latest project.

Fluid, versatile, generous and resolutely freakish, Israfil evolves in a trippy and weirdo universe. Established for over 10 years as one of the pillars of Metaphore Collectif and their Meta haven of many fantasies, the Marseille's minot is well known for propagating the free parties and club scene tumultuous energy. Though, here a secret that's no secret: you can't resist the sweet song of the naiads when you've been facing the Mediterranean your whole life. Every now and then, Israfil opens the gates of his "Eden in a dream" mix series, broadcasting the blissfull sound from above. Today, the holy stream is on again for the fourth time, delivering one hour of delicate jazz, aerial trip-hop and downtempo serenades.

Dear Ɠհօʂէ Ꭰąղçҽ label is back in the haunting game with its fourth imprint, this time from ᑕᗩᖇᗰEᑎTᖇᗩᑎ duo (aka Brahim Lumière & Guillaume Lamorte). 

Previously part of Le Marais eponymous LP on Besoins Premiers (along with green beast Jacques Satre), the long-time friends unveil today their four-tracker, depicting the exuberant and colorful myths rooted in their native Provence. In the heavy fuzz and distortion hide the intoxicating rounds of a carnival, the heady scent of a burning wicker man, the deafening drone of a crowd becoming one in front of the dancing flames.

Hey folks!
As always, we keep going on with our guestmix series, seemingly condemned to be interrupted by uncontrolled hiatuses. But who cares? We all enjoy a bit of freewheeling from time to time, right? 

Speaking of which, let’s introduce the not-so-all-here Gargantuan Grief and his schizophrenic mix, to mark the return from vacation. Apparently, coming back from Neverland was a bit too much to process for our little Peter Pan, who now looks determined to take it out on the good ole Bamboo Spirit. So sorry there ain’t no Tinker Bell anymore to look after you, amigo! 

Anyway, if you love dark, tense audio atmospheres in your ears, here’s a masterpiece of post-internet music, constantly flip-floping between emo-trap, metal-grazed breaks, noisy ambient and violent drum n bass, just like his legendary album on @dawnrecords. Seems like all children grow up, except one.
