Orbes Lucis is a three-part instrumental piece that captures humanity's primal encounter with light and fire, symbolizing the escape from darkness.

This work reflects the spiritual journey of birth as a desperate leap from ignorance into enlightenment, a theme prevalent in many philosophical traditions. The imagery of early humans gazing at the stars and experiencing a transformative awakening resonates deeply with ancient myths. This awakening sparked a yearning to harness fire, a symbol of knowledge, safety, and warmth against the darkness.

The composition of "Orbes Lucis" draws on these timeless themes, acting as a musical narrative of this significant transition. It begins with somber tones, gradually intensifying into a vibrant finale, representing the journey from confinement to liberation. The use of light and darkness in the music illustrates transformation, employing contrasting dynamics and harmonies to convey enlightenment.

Throughout the piece, celestial elements such as shimmering strings  evoke the orbs of light in the sky, portraying humanity's profound awakening and quest for mastery over nature, embodied by fire. 

Although the specific historical event that inspired "Orbes Lucis" may be lost, the composition celebrates humanity's enduring fascination with light, darkness, and the pursuit of knowledge. Through this music, the composer invites listeners to feel the urgency of escaping darkness and the joy of emerging into light, echoing the ancient desire to understand fire and the mysteries of the universe
