Tanzgemeinschaft is very glad to welcome Savaaq to the label. Hailing from Bergamo (Italy) this talent delivered an emotive & haunting dub techno workout.
"Home again" employs a classic dub techno feel through a dense atmosphere, dark & haunting chords, a dusty off-beat hi-hat and hypnotizing percussion.
AlexC. is back with a great remix coming from his hand. With this remix, we are edging into darker territories via a menacing bass groove, bubbling delays and skippy drums, while ornate modulations wind within.
Lluvia strips things back to stuttering chords and ethereal swells, driving the arrangement amongst muted drums and minute percussive hits.

PREMIERE: Safron - The Way (Ritchie Haydn’s A Different Way Remix) [ARRVL Records]

"RoBoTRoNik graces us with a multidisciplinary melodic odyssey for his debut on our 42nd release. Based in Piraeus, Greece, Nikolaos Tsarouchis conceives a journey of sonic adventures narrated in four original cuts that abundantly reflect the melodic complexity of his musical persona and two remixes signed by Marcus Sur and Shamans, respectively.  The journey opens with "Stardust In The Air", a dance floor weapon: groovy and melodic. Its main melody is catchy and progresses the track little by little, accompanied by percussions that complement it effectively. Following, "In A Parallel Universe" brings an interesting contrast promoting a low frequency ambiance that generates harmony through melodies and progressiveness.  "The Answer" is a profound and heavenly composition, formulated from beautiful chord progressions and hypnotic vocal clippings, which converge in the ability to generate a delicately hallucinating state of mind. On "One Last Prayer," a synth soars with a magnetic arpeggio style that dominates the entire track, while melodies, pads and bass lines blossom as the track develops into an emotional, electrifying composition — which has earned two remixes.  German Marcus Sur reworks the track with a slightly distorted hook, adding percussive elements and playing with other elements of the original, which resulted in a punchy and delightful version.  For its interpretation, the Mexican producer Shamans proposes a darker reinterpretation, which with some rhythmic breaks, vocal alterations and the addition of kicks that run through the composition marking it, the emotions do not stop surprising us in the last track, which gains strength when the melody main enters."

PREMIERE: RoBoTRoNik - One Last Prayer (Marcus Sur Remix) [Prototype]

BluePaper takes care of the second release on the WTR label with a fantastic five track EP, 'Elephant Rock'.
BluePaper’s music is inspired by the captivating landscapes and diverse culture of the Arabian Peninsula. His first few releases have received global support and plenty of radio airplay in the sets of the likes of Above & Beyond’s Tony McGuinness, the Anjunabeats Rising Residency and the Martin Garrix Radio; as well as receiving 'Track of The Week' on Russia’s main dance radio station Megapolis FM. Now no stranger to the Beatport charts he returns once again.
'Elephant Rock', the title track of the EP, opens up in deep and dreamy fashion with lush chords dancing over elegant beats. 'Riyadh At Twilight' is another richly layered and organic groove with drums that sway to and fro in an elegant fashion, harmonic handpan sounds and warming chords. 'Thee Ain (WTR Edit)' picks up the pace with chunky beats, exotic strong sounds and tasteful percussions all draped over the hypnotic drums. 'Fearless' then brings some desert blues with languid oud riffs stitched into the deep house kicks, and warm bass. While 'Kingdom Green' offers an uplifting sound with bright and airy chords opening for the heart.
This is a classy EP from this fast rising talent.
