KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als eine Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud gegründet. 
Der Ursprungsgedanke? Neuen Talenten aus der elektronischen Musikszene eine Bühne bieten. Was als Sprungbrett für Newcomer*innen begann, wurde schnell auch zur Anlaufstelle für etablierte Artists und Künstler*innen aller Art.

2020 folgte der nächste Schritt: Aus einem Podcast Projekt wurde ein eigenes Label mit Fokus auf Down- und Midtempo. Seitdem gibt’s zu den wöchentlichen Donnerstagspodcasts auch regelmäßige Releases auf allen gängigen Plattformen.

Ob Neuentdeckung oder Lieblingssound, alle Musikliebhaber*innen sind herzlich dazu eingeladen, bei uns reinzuhören, zu stöbern und zu genießen.

I am a talented and dedicated DJ based in Istanbul. I have spent years honing my skills and cultivating a deep love and knowledge of electronic, house, disco, funk, nu disco, afro house, ethnic house, tech house and melodic house music. My passion for spinning and mixing has taken me at some of the most prestigious clubs and events, and sharing the stage with many great artists such as Be Svendsen, Blond:ish, Goldcap, Armen Miran, Behrouz, Monolink, Islandman and more.

I have been DJ'ing since 2006 and have a diverse range of musical influences within these genres and am skilled at playing a variety of sub-genres within them. I pride myself on my ability to read a crowd and deliver the perfect set, no matter the occasion.

I have also played in exciting projects such as Do Not Sit, Gardens of Babylon, 1001 Direk Cistern event series, The Sound of Sails event series, which showcase my diversity and ability to adapt to different environments and audiences. I have a wide range of musical influences and an extensive music library that allows me to cater to different audiences and create dynamic sets. I am constantly pushing myself to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new music releases, and bring fresh, innovative sounds to my sets.

Whether performing at a packed club or a private event, I always bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the stage.

Alex was born and raised in Turkey, but slowly transitioned to life further afield in sunny Ibiza, where he now resides. He stepped behind the decks and began djing around 2002, but later started producing his own music in 2018. This lead to him strengthening and giving life to the music romping around in his head, finding joy in implementing his own ideas and favouring the combination of electronic sound with progressive bass. Alex has released tracks with Sudam records, Plur and Headcutsrecords to name a few. His sound resonates with those ready to hit the dance floor to the best electronic beats and his edgy new remix will be sure to entice even the shyest toetappers to get up and boogie!

There's no such thing as an overnight success, but great ideas do strike like lightning. Miami-based DJ and producer Fiin lives both these truths, proving his talent while earning an international reputation through a relentless dedication to the craft, the culture, and his city.
