I Border Collins sono un progetto musicale nato nel 2021 dall'idea di Davide (Voce e Chitarra), Luigi (Batteria) e Alex (Basso). 
Quest'ultimi reduci da esperienze musicali passate, iniziano a lavorare su canzoni che lentamente prendono forma caratterizzate da un sound grezzo, potente e riconoscibile. Le melodie sono semplici e orecchiabili, mirano ad entrare e coinvolgere chi li ascolta richiamando sonorità puramente Rock American Style / Rock alternativo in lingua inglese. Nel 2024 i Border Collins registrano il loro primo EP con l intenzione di farsi conoscere facendo viaggiare la propria musica il più lontano possibile.

Zilverbacks reveals a haunting and often challenging ride with vibrant layers of guitars, offset against a throaty and coarse vocal delivery; drawing comparisons to an early King Krule. The latest single ‘Breakthrough‘ sounds like a Clean Cut Kid record but with more punch, accompanied by lead vocalist Chris Harris distinct vocal tone. The boldness and sense of spirit only serves to add to Zilverback’s personality, a personable and genuine musician who sings with raw emotion.

With 10 tracks to be released, the stereo mix leans more onto grunge than indie-rock, while the sonic landscape created by multi-instrumentalist Harris almost crosses into the realm of confrontation. The lyricism follows the solum themes of loss, love and insanity set against the backdrop of a beautifully organic and robust instrumental.

Unable to read music and with no formal musical education under his belt, the task of producing the entirety of the album in his bedroom would have seemed almost impossible, however within just half a year he has created a diversely powerful collection of evocative lyrics and eclectic sounds that have made many pay attention to his musicianship and songwriting abilities. Without the aid of any professional studio equipment, his portfolio must be considered an impressive body of work at the least.

Hailing from Northwest England, Weimar combine an eclectic range of influences, their songs containing elements of Art Rock, Post-Punk, Cabaret, Chanson, Prog Rock, Funk, Alt Folk, Gothic Rock, Avant-Garde Jazz, Music Hall and Dark Circus. Lyrically they cover themes of the dark side of culture and human nature, drawing on a socio-political awareness as well as historical inspiration.

Weimar made their debut on the UK underground live circuit in late 2016. After building a loyal following during 2017–18, Weimar released their debut single, the double A-side “John Doe/Curse the Songs” in February 2019, to widespread critical acclaim. Following this, they began work on the recording of their debut album at Vibratone Sound Studio. The band’s second single, “Marvel To The State/Undesirable Master”, a collaboration with Rose Niland, was released in November 2019, again to positive critical acclaim. A support slot for Goth legends Skeletal Family followed in January 2020.

The completion of Weimar’s album was delayed due to the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic. The album was eventually completed, mixed and mastered during 2021. After almost three years in the works, the album, “Dancing On A Volcano”, finally saw its long-awaited release in June 2022, preceded by the single "The Girls Of LA" in March 2022.
