Tiger Tapes 035 - Vio PRG

The Kurkkio Festival is a yearly gathering way up north in Swedish Lappland. Arranged in true DIY spirit with stages in a barn and an old storage building used for drying birch. It gathers the best DJs from Sweden and abroad for a weekend every summer. The recording is from the opening set of the festival on a beautiful afternoon.

a variety of ancient animals, forbidden imaginary fruits and mysterious passions sneak in at night and look for a place of refuge to rest, to sleep.

The stalactites (Natif) are amorphous juice from the bottom of the mind, they are the seeds of confusion and irrationality and they seep through cracks in the cave and produce chaos and trembling until suddenly, out of a nightmare are born proud crystals of splendor and inspiring beauty.
