But PillowTalk isn’t just a hushed conversation before bed — it’s a genre-blurring, soul-stirring band that’s been crafting heartfelt, groove-laden music since 2011. Born one electric summer in San Francisco’s Lower Haight District, PillowTalk — comprised of Sammy Doyle, Michael Tello, Ryan Williams, and Shane Duryea — fuses classic R&B, boogie, disco, rock, and house into something uniquely their own.

Now, 2025 is set to turn up the volume. With a fresh lineup and their third full-length album on the horizon, Body of Work is poised to take over your speakers, energize your dance floors, and light up your festivals. This new LP sees the band evolve again, introducing new members Hannah Noelle (background vocals), Tate Masimore (guitar/bass), Collin Brown (keys/ synths), and the ever-magnetic Greg Paulus (trumpet). The sound? Think jackin’ gospel house meets urban funk, electronica, indie rock, and future R&B — a full-bodied musical experience that lives up to the album’s name.

Rooted in passion and fearless experimentation, PillowTalk refuses to be boxed in. Their motto, “D.A.G.” (Destroy All Genres), borrowed from a legendary underground SF DJ, says it all. With sonic influences as wide-ranging as the Talking Heads, The Police, Kraftwerk, Sam Cooke, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Heard, and Theo Parrish, their music is always surprising, always emotive, always real.

From the studio to the stage, they’ve put in the work, with releases on Bar 25 Music, Crew Love, Visionquest, Life & Death, Dirtybird, Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company, Kompakt, and D-Edge, along with remixes for icons like Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, HVOB, Soul Clap, and more. Their collaborations read like a who’s who of the underground: DJ Tennis, D.O.P., Ruede Hagelstein, Thugfucker, Deniz Kurtel, Tone of Arc, Soul Clap... and that’s just the beginning.

Michael Jared Caabay, also known as DJ/Producer CABUIZEE. His most successful production to date is a remix of Bruno Mars “That’s What I Like” that hit international and became US Billboard top 3 Remix of the song. He also became “2018 iHeart remixer of the year.” The success of this production prompted other known artists to feature him and his work in their podcasts, blogs, and mixes.
 
Most notably, Zedd, Slushii, Diplo, jackU, The Chainsmokers, Proximity, NGHTMRE, Slander, Benzi, Jillionaire, Major Lazer, Crankdat MAKJ, TJR, bonniexclyde, The Fader,Proof of the undeniable talent of Cabuizee is exemplified in the fact that his music has hit over 50+ million plays collectively. Cabuizee also has also had the opportunity to sign his original work onto labels such as Warner Music, Interscope, Magic Music, Tribal Tral, and many more that are currently in the works.

There's no doubt that Benzi is one of the most triumphant and prolific DJs on earth and a true master of the mixtape. Both his Girl Trapz and Get Right Radio series have achieved worldwide acclaim and praise from both fans and his contemporaries. There's no producer who wouldn't benefit from having their music showcased in the finely crafted and produced mixes. But that's not all that makes Benzi such a force in the world of electronic music, and verily, music in general. He's half of well known duo TWRK, with eSenTRIK and they racked up millions of streams with releases on Mad Decent and Capitol Records. BENZI then became the first resident DJ on Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1 and helmed his own show #BANGUERS with BENZI' that ran on Sirius/XM for three years. In recent times BENZI can be found looking to take over the music industry from the inside. He launched Parametric Records under the umbrella of Atlantic/APG and saw instant success with a string of big singles released all in the span of two years. This lead him to his current position at Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Records where he serves as the main tastemaker and A&R.
