@analogue68: Thanks Martin.  I think you made the right choice about the TR8, sound design on the LXR isn't a simple thing.  I picked it up when I saw one for sale on FB and wondered what it was.  I was curious about its unusually flexible approach to creating patterns and, to be honest, I still haven't really explored that bit properly.

A frenetic sketch that grew out of some 002 noodlings.  In fact everything is 002 apart from the drum loop which is from a Sonic Potions LXR.  

I bought the LXR just after I bought a Machinedrum.  They're both very deep and in quite different ways but given the reputation of the Machinedrum, even the early ones like mine, it's interesting that the LXR was the first to appear on a recording.

Melody and modular synths seems rare sometimes, so I sat and put this patch together. I decided to make something that felt warm when you close your eyes with headphones on.

The bass pad is the Intellijel Atlantis, with a bit of PWM, the lead the Furthrrr Generator with a small amount of mod on the fold into the terminal in filter mode.
Finally everything passes into the clouds in Delay mode with reverb.

The sequence was all tapped in on the yarns without a keyboard at 65bpm then played live. 

What you hear is what came out normallised, nothing else, from a tascam tiny field recorder plugged into the headphone jack.
