لما رواه المطر

لَمَّا حَبيبي ظهر
يَا مين يهزّ القَمر
وعنِيه ضِيَا بَدْرُو
زَهْر اللَّمون عَالشَّجر
هَزّ القلوب الحَجر
نُوَّارُو لما بدر
شَمِّيت هَوَا عِطْرُو

The lemons are ripe on the tree
And whoever shakes the tree
after it has been watered by rain
will fill his lap with lemons
How beautiful you are , night of the moon

And whoever shakes the moon

DABAKA is a musical project that brings together Lebanese and Syrian artists around an audio-visual performance. 
 
Revisiting the folkloric dabkeh, a dance and musical practice emerging from the Levantine’s common heritage, the artists joined their passion and talent to reclaim its place within a contemporary context.
 
The project hopes to encourage more dialogue between artists on the cultural scene and to foster a greater understanding of the unique role art can play in bringing people together.
